Neither group or Proxy.. I have no clue where the problem is. I was in several EU Servers....

The microphone stopped working after the update arma 3
Borw524315135 posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
So, I came from the city to my home. I start playing arma 3 and realize that the microphone just doesn't work. This worked in all other applications. I've done anything, it's literally everything. I even reinstalled Windows, nothing helped. It works in the 32-bit version. But this is not the solution to the problem. Sorry for the jambs, I translated through a translator-

I really hope someone can help me I've looked at so many videos, forum posts, etc. and can't get anywhere. So my issue is that my mic isn't registering in game at all, works fine on every other game I play except ARMA. It doesn't even show I have a mic connected in the players menu. And when i use PTT my name pops up like I would be talking but no one can hear me. -I made sure my PTT was correctly binded. -I've switched through all talk channels with no success. -I have my VON all the way up and sensitivity all the way up. It was at this point I realized my mic wasn't even being registered by the game at all. (I.E. My mic not even showing up next to my name on the players list) -I've made my headset the default input and output on windows for mic and sound. (And restarted my computer afterward for settings to take) -All my drivers are up to date. -I've messed with the input and outputs in the steam settings. (And for both my headset and for defaults it picks up my voice perfectly fine.) -I've given all privacy to the microphone full access for any app. -I've deleted the game and all it's files and gave it a fresh download. -I've disabled my laptops mic and speaker sound. It's been like this since I've gotten the game which was about 2 weeks ago. I don't know what to do now and I would really like to be able to communicate in game as typing is not my strong suit. Somebody please help me here I'm completely lost.

help Yet another "My mic isn't working in Arma3" post
UnbelieverInME posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
My mic isn't getting detected by Arma3. It's set to be the only sound device in Windows 10. It's set and working in Steam voice chat The sound comes in through the headset. Pushing the push to talk button displays the channel to which I would be speaking if they could hear. Any help you could offer would be appreciated. Rizen5 3600 + Sapphire Pulse 5600xt + 16 GB Ram - $550+ Arma3 and DLC - $150+ Corsair Void RGB Wireless Headset - $80 Still not being able to play Arma3 because it can't detect my mic - Priceless.- 1 reply

microphone Microphone working on all servers except the one I want to play on
Regoleech posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
So after I reinstalled windows 10 my microphone hasn't been working in this one specific server. It worked before reinstalling Windows. I tested with another Arma profile and it didn't help. To my surprise I tried a couple of other servers and it worked on all of them. My working microphone is set to default in windows, it works in steam, I tried running steam and Arma in administrator mode, creating new Arma profiles, reinstalling Arma, checking microphone drivers, restarting PC. Before you ask, no I have not been banned from talking on the server, I checked 😂. My voice shows as transmitting but no sound is coming out. Microphone not working with an audiointerface
GTA Ming Smith posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Well... here we go, I've never really made a post about any problems on Arma 3 and seem to have been able to fix them myself apart from this one problem I've recently stumbled upon. Ever since I got an audiointerface (Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2nd Gen) which is running all my sounds from my pc, microphone refuses to work on Arma 3 (mind you that this mic is ran by the audiointerface and uses an XLR cable). My current setup: https://gyazo.com/378b328d7a556edb864f9c7b60ded96a Steam settings are as follows: https://gyazo.com/fc31ffd949f6da9e33195d4f253fd426 After conducting a mic test in steam itself and calling friends just to make sure my mic in steam is 100% functional, including tests on some of my other steam games, my mic doesn't seem to have any problems running there. As for my mic usage in Arma 3 itself.. I've had no problems using a microphone before using an audiointerface and if problems did indeed occur I was always able to fix it in my steam voice settings. The mic is running at 16 bits, 44100 Hz (Cd-quality): https://gyazo.com/9c5f1ca70e12d72735e0ed0bc90989fc If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has a sollution to this help would be appreciated!- 2 replies

Voice chat - i can hear others, but cannot speak myself
WurschtBanane posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Simple issue, which i didnt have before: My microphone works fine, it lets me speak in applications like TeamSpeak3 or Discord. But when i try to use it for VON, other people cannot hear me. I can still hear them, though. I know that i have to switch through channels, that is not the issue here. I had this problem since 1 week at least, but a few days ago i was still able to use the direct communications channel, but now even that one does not work. When i try to test voice in steam, it appearantly does not recognize my microphone input, so that might be part of the issue.- 1 reply

Hello, I recently went on a server with some friends to play and they informed me that everytime I used voice chat they I would sound like darth vader or something. We tried couple of other servers and it happened to all of them. I left because I was afraid of getting banned for "trolling". Does anyone know how I would be able to fix my mic so that others would hear me properly in game again? I have the Corsair Void headset and I use the headset's mic to speak. It works in other games such as Rainbow Six Siege. Any help is appreciated, Thanks

I've checked the wiki and did a brief search on Google on how to control a player's microphone or VON volume settings via scripting commands, similar to fadeSound/fadeRadio/fadeSpeech, etc. but haven't found what will actually change the volume a player receives or transmits voice-over-net in multiplayer. I'm assuming the command doesn't exist and would require some kind of intricate scripting or addon to actually work, but I'm hopefully I am wrong. Anyone know methods on how to do this? [EDIT] At the moment, I'm using the enableChannel command locally, but I'd rather have the individual's voice lowered and still able to receive on same channel, if possible. ALSO, is it possible to remoteExec or remoteExecCall a createVehicle command? The question is related.
