Seems like this is a likely option according to wikepedia: A machine-check exception (MCE) is a type of computer hardware error that occurs when a computer's central processing unit detects an unrecoverable hardware error in the processor itself, the memory, the i/o devices or on the system bus. It is not caused by software.

Well... here we go, I've never really made a post about any problems on Arma 3 and seem to have been able to fix them myself apart from this one problem I've recently stumbled upon. Ever since I got an audiointerface (Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2nd Gen) which is running all my sounds from my pc, microphone refuses to work on Arma 3 (mind you that this mic is ran by the audiointerface and uses an XLR cable). My current setup: https://gyazo.com/378b328d7a556edb864f9c7b60ded96a Steam settings are as follows: https://gyazo.com/fc31ffd949f6da9e33195d4f253fd426 After conducting a mic test in steam itself and calling friends just to make sure my mic in steam is 100% functional, including tests on some of my other steam games, my mic doesn't seem to have any problems running there. As for my mic usage in Arma 3 itself.. I've had no problems using a microphone before using an audiointerface and if problems did indeed occur I was always able to fix it in my steam voice settings.
