  1. Thank you, Jackal326. I tried "Direct chat", but everyone in 40m radius see markers. I think that "Vehicle chat" can help but in vehicle everyone will see markers.
  2. There is no a script command to change sway. It is impossible. All you can to change is recoil.

    Developers can change this via configs. Decrease mass and recoil for specific weapons or other equipment. There will be no improvements in soldiers metabolism at all in 2035. You tries to give drugs to soldiers to compensate heavy mass of equipment = new stamina.

    Sorry, just saw your post. The problem may be in scope parameter. There are no weapons with alternative grip in Arsenal. I made that not to clog arsenal. You may use list of classnames for script purposes.

    The answer is: Everyone is aware of that it will be impossible to get old or better results with new system. A lot of hardcore players (communities) don't want jogging forever. They want highly customizable and realistic system.

Changelog: v.0.2: - fixed ACE3 temperature handling - fixed flashlight and IR-lasers handling New known issue: When you change grip on weapon, your sight gets default mode and zeroing. Made a feature request on feedback tracker to solve this problem http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=26465 P. S. Added list of classnames for those who wants to give weapon with alternative grip in editor. All new classes have scope=1, you will not see them in Virtual Arsenal.

    I don't have enough skills to make animatioms. I used RHS animations to make all that stuff. Nope. I didn't make models or animations. I made only configs and scripts to handle that.

    Well, it is possible. You cannot change configs of weapons, that is true. But in this mod I change weapons not configs. Mod replaces the whole weapon super-fast, you don't and cannot notice that visually. The same system may be applied to any weapon, but you need two weapons (one with attachment and one without). You can swap one to another and voila - grip/any attachment/etc changes! The problem with that system is the lack of pair of weapon models and models of attachements. Btw, I solved an ACE3 temperature issue (Thank you, Glowbal!). P. S. Thank you, foxhound!

  14. I was asked to change holding of M4 and M16 rifles like in ruPal AK holding mod. And I found animation for that in RHS:USAF mod too. Not perfect but acceptable.     No need for that. Want to keep them modular. Btw, have somw plans to combine them with ACE3 and make it possible to switch grips in game with ACE3 menu.
  17. Found a new script command - addWeaponItem. If you have several same weapons (one of them in hands). Will it add magazine to weapon in hand only?
  18. I want to make a mod that will make possible to change grip on weapons. Here is the idea: 1. You have two weapons with different grips (but the same models); 2. You remove first weapon and add other with different grip; 3. Profit!!! But I cannot found the solution for addmagazine problem. I want to load magazine with specific ammo count without load animation. Is it possible? The only solution I found is: 1. Save all magazines from backpack, vest, uniform; 2. Remove all magazines; 3. Add magazine with specific ammo count; 4. Remove weapon; 5. Add weapon; 6. Add magazines to backpack, vest, uniform. Not best one.

    I don't know how to make this better. I think it will be hard for mod aggregators to handle mods such way. But it is ok for me if this two threads will be merged in one named "ruPal weapon holding" or something similar.

  23. Found a problem on stable branch. When .50 cal static mk30 reloads the sound jams. May somebody confirm on development build?

    3CB BAF Units

    I have adopted this mod http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=27927to ACE3 system. It fully usable and uses ACE3 menu system. Mine sweeper model and animation lacks.
  25. Cheked it. Great improvements in slope handling! Not ideal, but much better! Thank you for your work.
