I ran in to the same 3fps issue with the new malloc, interesting side note, when playing I'm always recording with Dxtory, when this bug occurs, if I stop recording it buys me around another 30 minutes before the inevitable crash comes. Not sure what to make of this, I'm sure better minds might find it helpful however.

  9. Not to sound rude but is there any chance of doing a current hotfix from the master branch which has all the config issues fixed before starting to overhaul the ballistics. With 40/50 people trying to play and config pop up errors all over the place where base classes are being overwritten it's not really helping Arma's already unstable environment when used in larger communities. This also leads to issues when loading missions that use NI arms content, as they need to be loaded a second time to bypass the config errors.

    AI Discussion (dev branch)

    I've seen this before when you try use forceWeaponFire and the AI kept switching between his launcher and rifle, not got the code to hand as I was playing with it a while ago.

    No, not really when CBA are the one's that maintain their code base and KK just basically reported a major bug but then didn't explain how to reproduce it.
  18. ACE doesn't use a userconfig file, the server uses something akin to a userconfig but that's a different story.
  19. Updated v1.2 Since the cfgPatches stuff changed it wasn't loading, should be correct again now!
  20. My guess is the warnings are there so people don't log tickets with ACE/RHS saying "x doesn't work" when it's a compatibility issue that can be avoided.

    If you want stable game play, play on the stable branch... If you're reporting a bug, do it on the feedback tracker.
  22. Not sure if this kosha in here or not but the thunder and rain sounds on trees are amazing... Youtube compresses the audio a bit, it's much crisper and has nicer bass in game but still... (advise headphones).

    LOD Discussion

    This is pretty outside my realm of knowledge but does the LOD switch need to be instant, can it not fade between two levels to avoid this issue?
