  1. A few observations after the latest update to Dev branch... Still no small clutter objects in and around the Swarog radar complex, however the industrial complex as mentioned above now has some trash containers which is nice. 👍 These barrels are still misaligned.

    There's no need to do that ^^ Currently your class EnvSounds and class CfgEnvSpatialSounds entries are empty.... class EnvSounds { class CfgEnvSpatialSounds { }; }; Just remove the above code from your map config and the sounds return.....tested and works just fine.

    Awesome little terrain, it's just like an American version of Shapur. 👍 I love the way it's surrounded by the mountains, makes it very immersive from ground level. +1 for adding ambient birds. Maybe my download was fubar but I have no environmental sounds at all, no wind sound, no rain sound, no ambient sounds. In fact there are no soundsets registered in the config. All i can hear are player sounds and the crowes and eagles...

  8. This has been mentioned a few times now, but none more descriptive than this. ^^ And it's probably the only downside to Livonia, it grates a little more because the last 4 vanilla terrains we've had in A3 have all been islands and or archipelagos
  9. To be fair that's not the only building with a modeled interior that has an inaccessible area, for example the medical centre building has a similar area.....but surely the locked bars over these doors are a visual sign for no entry regardless of what's behind them.

    Hey man, I can confirm this...only last night i found a vanilla RGO frag on Livonia, GM content set to "yes", Vanilla A3 content set to "no".
  11. Gathering some last minute weather data before daybreak... Mods: Ravage, GM, GM Uniforms, Sullen Skies, Ambient Birds, Contact DLC.

The radar complex at Swarog has literally no small clutter objects like trash bins/containers, garbage piles etc. Similarly the large industrial complex that sits between Rodzanica and Swarog has no small clutter objects either....these objects are convenient for loot scripts which rely on static map objects

  15. Loading texts are always insightful, equally so for Livonia.... A few things I've noted already that are related to the loading texts... The hills to the south of Nadbor are very creepy indeed, especially from dusk till dawn, there is a strong whiff of Namalsk around those parts, something in the sound that I can't quite put my finger on yet. Deer and wolves are referenced a few times, given there are deer skeletons among the assets, I'm hoping deer are added to the ambient system before release. A little feedback regarding the terrain, given it's landlocked with only a very murky river running through it, are ambient fish really necessary?....I found a few spawning on open ground around the riverbanks already.

  17. Assets are very nice indeed, in particular.... Radar complex buildings are just superb both inside and out. Solar tents are also super cool. The LDV woodland camo is beautiful....would be nice to see some of the older tents receive an LDV reskin too. (Land_TentA_F, Land_TentDome_F) Can't wait to see what's added going forward.

    So Livonia...as far as lootable static assets go, as well as re-used static objects that are already supported by Ravage, I find there are at least five new ones that could be added... "Land_Wreck_V3S_F","Land_DeerStand_01_F","Land_DeerStand_02_F","Land_GarbageBin_03_F","Land_ConcreteWell_02_F", Unfortunately the upgraded A2 and DayZ buildings are all devoid of furniture, not even the proxies remain. 🙁 Still, there are some super cool solar tents complete with folded bags, and some neat portable floodlights... As for the rest of the terrain, It definitely has the feels....

    Arma 3 DLC - CONTACT

    Just a few random thoughts regarding the Contact DLC...(after many beers) A usual there's plenty of hyperbole whenever BI try to do something a little different, maybe this should have been pitched as a CDLC as apposed to an official one, DnA has said he personally wanted to do something like this for years.... From what I read here and elsewhere over the last few days I think the more traditional milsim section of the community seem to think that every official DLC should be for them and them only, I mainly mean assets and campaigns, this is not a slur just an observation. Personally, I buy every DLC that's released not only to support a great platform but to also enrich my own sandbox experience. 🍺🍺🍺

    Maybe they decided as a company to take a step back from "reality"....we shouldn't forget 2 BI Devs spent nearly 130 days in a Greek jail while taking a vacation in Limnos.
