Does that reset back to metric at every restart or what does the last sentence mean? In that case it would be better to edit the arma3.cfg (useImperialUnits = 1; iirc)

The moving is intentional yes. I tested the secondary button position before the release and it did work, so there's most likely some new mod conflict with it now... I'll check out Ravage and maybe try to think of some more reliable place for it. edit. @tourist I tested with Ravage and it worked as intended. Could you list all your active mods? And in what kind of situation the menu doesn't show up; SP/MP, mission etc? Does the button change colors when you hover the mouse over it? -

Hi boombastic! No I haven't forgotten you, and want to thank you again for the inspiration and the little kick. :) But as you might remember, I pretty much dropped any further development when Arma's visual update came along, since the game already looked quite good in my eyes even without ReColor. The latest update, after a year and a half break, had only tiny tweaks whereas adding a new effect would require a bit more work. Not just two additional sliders, but handling it throughout the whole internals of the mod. I'm really sorry for letting you down. And while I can't promise to add the CA, I will take another look at it soon for sure. -
First of all, I was very wrong above - terrain grid actually goes up to god knows how high. Secondly, an update. Forced Ultra+ terrain activates also when opening the editor. Shadows even a little more ultra. Some disappearing particles fixed by replacing the vanilla highest setting with Ultra+. Added a EVS Ultra preset for a single-click FPS destruction. Removed non-functional settings for HDR and anisotropic filtering. Clouds even more heavenly. (Possibly) Added Super Low terrain detail. Signed for multiplayer. The particles thing is pretty weird, or I'm doing something wrong; the parameters for the detail levels don't seem to do much at all. They're even mostly the same in all vanilla presets. And when I added a new option class, some particles like bullets impacts on objects and water disappeared. So ended up overwriting the regular High with Ultra+.

EVS expands the normal graphics settings with higher/lower options. This is an experimental mini-mod. Some settings may not work or may cause issues. Originally made for getting the best possible quality out of screenshots, and for that this is still probably most usable. Usage: open the video settings and try the new levels for the old options. Features: View distance goes up to 40,000m - this was already possible through scripting. The normal limit in the options was 20km. shadow distance 5,000m - above ~500m will cause some glitching and a heavy hit on performance. Terrain detail Ultra+ - grass clutter renders further and distant terrain is slightly more detailed. - Setting overrides the vanilla limit on very high terrain view distances. - may kill your fps. more and a bit bigger particles - not fully verified. The vanilla ultra setting is already near maximum apparently. Needs more testing. higher resolution shadows - very noticeable effect in more distant shadows lower/higher textures and object detail - not very noticeable effect, except in the low end. better clouds - slightly more volume in some situations more dynamic lights - the vanilla limit is 16 lights, EVS uses the maximum hard-coded limit of 32. (I don't understand why it's set so low on normal ultra.) More depth of field and sharpening - beyond reasonable levels. 2 new Post processing presets - just for my personal preference for Altis & Tanoa. Well color me surprised - an update! Fixed a conflict with optics on some mods, e.g. RHS. Added the settings dialog to Eden editor tools. (doesn't add the effect to the mission automatically) The currently active preset now activates in the Eden editor too, not only in mission. The export function now includes a script you can run in your mission to create the post process effect. Button in the ESC menu now moves to a bit better position when there's some other mod blocking its position. Button in the Splendid Camera mode should disappear more reliably when the interface is hidden. Some minor changes I can't remember because it's been a year since I last touched this mod. -

Thanks, I guess. :) Although that mod has nothing to do with lighting configs, it's just the old color correction post processing. It was actually made before the visual upgrade, after which I didn't really see the point anymore because to me the game looked good enough without it. BI even added a similar contrast/brightness/saturation controls to the vanilla game. Since then I haven't really touched the mod, but I think I could update it for the RHS optics if they're still an issue.

Question about Apex Coordinate conversion

Do you really have an excel file with just awkward lines of "x=3457 y= 1543", or is it more like a one column for x and one for y? Yeah, it's mainly changing the CfgVideoOptions. Only "active" feature is the forced ultra terrain which uses the setTerrainGrid command to bypass the engine controlled limit. EVS has very LQ settings for only texture and objects, the others would feel a bit redundant to put between disabled and the regular low, in my opinion. I see your config has terrainGrid = 100 - I think I tested it years ago and concluded 50 is the hard-coded limit. Nearly flat ground with all the trees floating would look funny though. :)

Open the layout settings in the options and reset it to a preset. You may need to restart the game afterwards. I've heard the panels disappear if you change their size. So try first without touching them at all.

Open the campaign selection menu and use a cheat code to unlock all the missions. Hold down the left shift key and tap numpad minus. Release shift and type 'campaign'. This will unlock all the locked missions, and lock all the unlocked missions. Then just select the mission you want to continue from and click the "revert" button.

I had that. Restoring the layout to default fixed it. I guess the updates for panel resizing messed it up.

Oh you beat me to it. But it's worthy of another post IMO. :D (The cars were unintentional, by the way. The van was on a proper parking spot and the others were supposed to just pass by for ambience.)
