Hello Ace Community!

Now that i figured out how the updater works AND that i can play ArmA again, i want to thank you for this Mod collection ..its a dream!

like i read earlier " ...arma is a sandbox, you need the community based Addons.."

just then i was wondering is it my heart i am hearing or the players heart !!

Is it ACE that makes tanks not shoot at planes. I watch the .50 on top of my T-90 track low, slow Warthogs all day but it never fires.

Something I noticed in testing - not sure if its just me or has been bought up before though.

When using the HALO script, I could cut the ropes on my main parachute, then deploy and cut away the reserve chute (presumably to plummet to my death). Though when I landed, I didn't die or take any damage.

Cool sound effects on the reserve chute though. :)

Hi, i'm missing Sound ACE_Heartbeatscalar, Sound ACE_Breathing3_scalar, Sound ACE_Breathing4_scalar, Sound_ACE_Breathing5_scalar, i assume all my sound breathing are missing but these are the ones that showed up in the armoury, now I have installed ACE2 from armaholic.com aswell as the other ACE mods, and the problem ocurred, after this i used the SixUpdater- GUI, and the same problem occurs, though while it was updating it did say @CBA seems incompatible although it does work, I'm stumped guys, should I update again with Six and remove @CBA from my ArmA 2 Directory?

Since the latest update via Six Updater I get the missing Sound ACE_Heartbeatscalar too. I've updated my configs appropriately. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hey Ace team...

I need to ask a question....I downloaded ACEX, ACE PLA and ACE_SM from Armaholic will six updater update them aswell? On my Six updater page thing it says those mods are not installed and the current version is none... Any help as to how i update them?

Heres an idea aswell....

I think you should add a cm130 mask that is usable like the gasmask. Or just add a 50 cal gunner and Pilot gunner model with this mask. (Pilot gunner model has visor instead of goggles).

Thie cm130 is used for face protection when using heavy caliber weapons;

I know this is in the bug tracker,, but not be able to kill units other than small arms is a problem. Even HE wont kill troops.

Just ran six update, told me to delete modfolders so i have deleted the ACEX ACE PLA and ACE SM modfolders from programfiles/bohemiainteractgive/arma2

I know this is in the bug tracker,, but not be able to kill units other than small arms is a problem. Even HE wont kill troops.

Normal HE explosions make damage, but indirect( like GBU created by create vehhicle or artillery) makes no damage when using wounding module :(.

He's not answering cause it's probably been answered before(and a bunch of other times) in one of the 3 ACE2 Milestone threads which can easily be searched via the "search this thread" function.

The suggestion of the mask needs to be added via ticket at the DH site. The devs don't take/want suggestions here. All suggestions need to go there, also bugs, etc.

For your problem you may also want to check the FAQ links in the first post and also try the new WAGN. It recently replaced the ACE2 WIKI.

It's probably not the answers you wanted but it's the only answer I can give, unless others want to explain the solution again. I've never had that problem either so I can't offer any more help.

the mod(s) seem to work but the voices of the command menu and AI-soldiers are gone.

Might it be a problem that I have the German version of the game?

Thanks for the help but i have figured it out now :bounce3:.

I did look through a few pages in the old thread(s) but tbh, spending a day going through 100+ pages of posts looking for a question that may or may not have been anwered isn't my cup of tea... :P

Has anyone tried the ACE@_Demo1.utes mission in the Editor and the way the spectator script is set up there? I can't seem to exit the spectator mode when actived via the action menu. If I press esc it closes the spectator selectionmenu/view and goes to the seagull controlled view. After this there's no way to stop unless I exit the mission and go back to the Editor and restart the mission again. So needless to say it doesn't work in my other missions using this method.

I have:

ace_sys_spectator_can_exit_spectator = true;

in the init.sqf but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas anyone?

I have that same problem you can move around in the spectator mode but cant exit...lol very annoying.

Hmmmmm. Tried all that but still didn't work. Let me make sure I didn't mess with anything.

EDIT:

Nope. I grabbed a new one and the same thing. x makes the seagull bank left.

Hi everyone, after not touching arma for a couple of months i've started playing again but now im having a problem with the rangefinder (vector 21B nite), it just doesnt show distance, and yes, i do have the battery, the red dot and green circle appears but nothing else.. it used to work fine, any idea whats wrong ? Also, everytime i join a server it says that my userconfig files are outdated but deleting them and running updater does not create them... so i asked a friend to send me his files but i still get the same error, dunno if its a bug or actually matters. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Old userconfig files. You need to check them after every update, if required. The DL to @ACE\store\userconfig.rar. You then need to copy and paste. If they updated to the real folder you'd lose any changes everytime and have no reference for faster updating.
