messiahua 0 Posted December 7, 2009 (edited) I've setup the "Lazy Way" for it, just some fun on the title :)http://dev-heaven.net/wiki/ace-mod2/Lazy It's also a possible workaround for true problems, so take the title with a smile Seems to be working, thx. But I still don't get how to create this six-updater.yml except to do: Run the Six Updater launcher from StartMenu/Desktop.Vista/7 UAC users: Please run the application "As Administrator" (Right click) Please make sure you are not running multiple instances of the applications! Stop all other instances first. [*]Enter "1" and press Enter. (This will also update the application, when updates are available) But it just doesn't work and it doesn't listen on localhost to proceed to next steps. sickboy 13 Posted December 7, 2009 Will this mod be updated through yoma addon sync in future? We provide the public with the announced distribution methods. What happens beyond that, is entirely up to everyone. I've seen http / ftp and addonsync links flying by.. Altough I would bet largely that once people have adjusted to the idea, they will come to see the potential of the marvelous piece of technology we are deploying ;) Many have already! :D To everyone sprouting (unconstructive) comments about our distribution system; It falls on death's ears so please do not waste posts on it, thanks :) All constructive feedback, reports and feature requests; extremely welcomed! turin turambar 0 Posted December 7, 2009 Mirror is up: http://49thblackdiamonds.com/data/public/ArmA/ACE2Have fun with that. :) Around... 12-14 times faster than the official method. And btw: a ruby-coded line command program that launch a configuration tool in the form of a temporal web server, where you configure and set up and in a very weird menu the set of customizble actions and mods you want to have, all that to end with a rsync window downloading at 25k/s. really? Realllyyy? Just to download some files over the net?
Curious 0 Posted December 7, 2009 Installed CBA manually and it works now. :) Thanks ACE team.
Alex72 1 Posted December 7, 2009 Tested a quickie where i checked some gear out. Amazing...!!! Sounds are great and the functions so far plus gear does - yet again - not disapoint. Cant wait to start playing seriously with it. I noticed there was wind(?) but couldnt compensate on the TAC50 for it. Guessing it comes later. Just amazing guys. Thank you! :)
