because of letter E , there was missing E in LIEUT > E < NANT

and game engine had problem with recognition of rank and it was causing horrible lag, when you used by F2 groups from P85 (groups as infantry platoon or mechanized infantry platoon etc.)

Grenade Bug Fix for Mission Makers

While I still have no clue what causes the grenade bug, I have written a little script that gets rid of the bug on mission start.

Get it here:

Usage:

Download and extract the script and copy it to your mission's folder.

In a single player mission, just put this into any init field:

_crap = execVM "DIH_P85_grenade_fix.sqf";

In a multi player mission, just put this into your init.sqf:

IF (Local Server) THEN
{
execVM "DIH_P85_grenade_fix.sqf";
};

What does it?: It just removes every weapon and magazine from every soldier and then re-adds everything that has just been removed... oddly enough, that solves the issue.

Note: If you change your weapon loadout by script in your mission, you have to do so AFTER the DIH_P85_grenade_fix.sqf has been executed.

This is of course no real solution for the problem (these damned grenades ought to be working right away!), but at least you may create missions with working grenades now.

Nothing serious, I just thought that you'd like to know.

Also, the ASU-85 does not show up in-game. Error message: 'Warning Message:

btw, any plans to do the good old ZIS/SIL-151 (= ЗиС-151)? I just love that old stuff... :)

I fear that one is quite difficult to do... all these round parts...

i know, some errors will be fixed in future, concerning ASU85 - as i remember it is not ready for Arma2 (requires some changes)

concerning ZIS 151 - nice car, but in far future , yet i must find all other errors and fix them, today i found that Volga causes CTD (wrongly binarised model) and is first to fix (already on my disc fixed, but before update i wanna find more errors in P85_V)

Vilas do not think that this machine is just a lot of gaps there and this helicopter is the primary in which the Polish armi.A posts I'm quite an impatient person:confused:

Helicopter addon is veeeeeeeeeery big effort (in OXYGEN) , probably weeks of work , my OFP model is too poor to A2 standarts ,

also i will be preparing packs of weapons divided from P85 with fixes and more modern than 1985

for example AK pack will contain more real AK74M (to details even on front sight), AK74 in plum plastic (1986-1991) and etc.

it requires a lot of time to find "from year 198... they changed something" ;)

Little attention - tactical vests for paramedic`s can be found here here and here :) So I assume the same when I served in the helicopter

Aren't the metal parts on AK74M mat black? Those look a little bit too shiny for me. Apart from that, looks good.

I also wanted to report that the Type 56 in your weapon packs looks a bit out-dated compared to the other AKs. It would seem like you forgot to add the new Arma 2 shaders to it or something.

This may be a bit off-topic, but:

Did armies in the 70s/80s still use radio operators with portable com radios? Like this (I know neither the time nor the army that's shown in the pic...)?:

If so, are there models available for ArmA/ArmA2?

These would make a nice addition gameplay-wise. I'd love to script some nice features for them.

If things like that exist for ArmA, Vilas probably knows about them :)

yes, AK74M will be matte

radio operators for P85 (models) will be made when i will be making update

now in plans :

- releasing packs (Russian modern weapons and older AK, HK, FAL pack)

- adding DANA howitzer and few vehicles more

- CWR

new models for P85 (radio, 70/80 US olive drab infantry) have to wait
