AnimalMother92 10 Posted December 9, 2009 i think i have learned a bit. so if you manually input -mod=@ACE;@ACEX into the parameters, it loads! however checking the boxes does nothing. and it seems there is some trouble with the program writing to the cfg file maybe. because i reverted to 1.6 and all the mods had =1 but under 2.0 they had =0 even though they were checked. very unusual, but i hope this helps you track down the source of the issue :)

Do not edit the *.cfg or *.profile manually!!!

Why portable? You do not have to edit the "ArmA II Launcher.cfg", therefore it is regardless where are the files saved. Please do not copy the "ArmA II Launcher.cfg" to other PCs etc., there is no guaranty that this will work, just let the Launcher create the necessary files! alpinestars
kroky 1 Posted December 9, 2009 Hi, I have got a question about the mod loading order: - does high priority mean that the mod folder will be loaded first or last? For example: If I put @ACE on the top of the priority list will it be like: -mod=@mod;@mod;@mod;@ACE or -mod=@ACE;@mod;@mod;@mod?
nicke157 10 Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) I can only add one mod :( EDIT: Okey, found the solve now. Edited December 9, 2009 by nicke157
HapShrap 10 Posted December 9, 2009 Hi, Love the launcher and like the upgrade to having profiles, however I have one issue that when I select the beta it doesn't save with the profile. I didn't see a separate checkbox to say launch the beta so figured it had to be selected as an addon? Cheers Hap.

CptArmA2 10 Posted December 10, 2009 All, I added a reset function. Please use this function, if you have problems concerning endless detection of mods etc. CAUTION: It will delete all settings and profiles. I hope now, everything runs fine  Thx, alpinestars
miller 49 Posted December 10, 2009 Great, reset function, good idea. thanks for new version ;)
EricStephenVorm 0 Posted December 11, 2009 Uh... where exactly is the reset function? My launcher suddenly went crazy today and won't work. It just keeps telling me there's new mods detected, but when I hit okay it keeps cycling back again endlessly. I can't find a reset button anywhere... Thanks. Great tool otherwise. By far the best I've ever used. ---------- Post added at 12:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:39 AM ---------- Oops. Nevermind. I checked your website. Thanks. miller 49 Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) Under setting, tab 5 The red ring: ;) Klick for larger Edited December 11, 2009 by Miller
Spock 12 Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) I'm sorry to say but 2.03 doesn't fix the endless detection loop for me, which started with release version 2.0. I've used the reset button and also manually deleted the entire %APPDATA%/ArmA II Launcher folder to no avail. My mods are all in a subdirectory of the main ArmA2 folder (called 'Mods'), sorted into further subdirectories by type (AI, sound, etc). This setup worked perfectly with launchers version 1.6.4 and earlier. Any ideas? *edit* Windows 7, home directory and most subfolders redirected to D: drive, however %APPDATA% is still in expected place (C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming) Edited December 11, 2009 by speedwaystar
markushaze 10 Posted December 11, 2009 Works like a charm here. I keep the MOD folder in ARMA 2 .dir with @ in front. example: @ACE @ACEX @JTD @warparticles @xxx This way everything works great. Danke CptArmA2
blackpulpit 10 Posted December 14, 2009 I keep getting this when I run the addon loader... shaders not valid (mismatch of exe and data?)
