Relax. Just a bit more to do, I consider this the most time consuming portion. Finishing up the ramp today, need to add the hydraulics, and after that I need to model the cockpit. Still needs textures, the config, and a few other things. This strongly implies that you're modelling the thing. You need to be more clear in the future what exactly your contribution is. AFAIK the chinook was originally from the FFAA mod (may be wrong here) so that might explain the spanish markings. ET <number> is the spanish system, if its RAF it should be ZA/ZD/ZH<number>, placed on the tail/rear of the aircraft, and no flag in the middle. It should also have a very small low-vis roundel and the titles "Royal Air Force" on the sponsons (although these may be omitted on deployed Chinooks, I only ever see them in europe) Edit: it should also have no union flags at all, just a tail flash on the tail, and a roundel just above and behind the crew door/crew hatch on either side of the forward fuselage. The new titles are a significant part of the RAF's branding at the moment; they're sticking it on everything from Tristars to tugs. I think I saw a picture with the new RAF logo on a wokka in Helmand within the past week or two: Probably one of the newly deployed aircraft along with 11 Light Brigade, now their tour has started. b00ce 160 Posted October 16, 2009 is it the same freeware model mesh that i have ?simply i had no time to do it for Arma1 along with APC and Colonial Marines addon is it the same model ? if it is freeware mesh by someone (i have something which looks the same) than don't call somebody's work - your own i have the same freeware model on my disc since 2 years Please don't ruin this for us Vilas. smiley nick 51 Posted October 16, 2009 @DM The good friends over at the FFAA mod kindly allowed me to use their updated model once again for a standalone RAF release. Thanks to Pelton. I have changed a few things on the model, mostly to allow the UKF landys to fit inside the hull. Hence why there’s a few Spanish markings left on her. The AI also makes use of the new flightmodel and VTOL which they now take off in and land in VTOL without much of a problem they are just a bit slow doing it.. suhsjake 1 Posted October 21, 2009 That isn't very realistic. The Harrier cannot take off vertically with full combat load.
