Azamato 0 Posted June 17, 2009 Hyper threaded yeah ;)
EricM 0 Posted June 18, 2009 It may not work well then as Arma 2 spits different tasks to different cores. HT might make him believe there are 2 cores, but the tasks will have to share the same physical CPU and clockcycles. The Micro-AI is a real CPU sucker and really needs its own core. You may be able to fool around the map in the editor on your own, but you won't be able to play the campaign or any decent SP mission I believe. Some MP might be doable (as part of the work is supported by the server and other clients). If you want to avoid a terrible disappointment, please do wait for the demo. RookStrike 10 Posted June 20, 2009 There are some really nice screenshots in the official thread! I was wondering if anybody would want to try their hand at making some ArmA II wallpaper? At least it would give me something to look at while awaiting the US release. :)

CarlGustaffa 4 Posted June 21, 2009 @SMERSH: One word... Wow! Personally, for 'photography' purposes I don't care if it is arranged via scripts or ingame snapshots or postprocessed madly, as long as the end result is good.
