One and Two section brief pre-dawn for an early morning patrol in to the city, the first of their deployment to the area

The steely eyes of Red

The men sustained fire from a local militia as soon as they entered the area and were forced into intense close quarters battle

Two members of two section cross a street while moving up to eliminate a known militia leader in the area

As part of a rescue op, the men put down all round security during a river crossing with light contact

As the combat intensifies, members of one section move up on to the ridge to engage the forces across the river

Two NCO's observe the compound where recently captured Red Cross doctor Annie Baker is being kept. Her condition at this time remains unknown.

An NCO sneezes/wipes the dust from his eyes/has a quick cry during the down time between fighting

Members of two section bring down fire support across the river in support of the crossing
