In this version we made many additions and corrections for the simplify usage of buildings.

In V 2.0 we left the house that already placed fences and objects around

them. Also you now can construct different fences consist of particular sections.  We also added some new objects as independent units, such as burned BMP, small church, container with radioactive materials, and much more.

Pack of Russian Architecture V2.0 includes 93 different objects.

We hope that changes and corrections we made in Russian Architecture Pack will simplify work of those who create islands with this Pack.

Special thanks to:

These objects are truly works of art!!! The old Orthodox churches are so incredibly beautiful! This definitely adds a lot of depth and atmosphere to the game!!! One of the better addons I've seen in awhile. I wish we saw more of these types of addons that map makers and mission makers can use.

I hope in the future to also see Russian/Balkans Muslim Sufi mosques/lodges. They would be good for Chechnya maps.

I really do like these addons, the textures are right on par. I wish the all of the large buildings were enterable. The I had a problem in going up the stairs of the "small Church". I still have a lot of testing to do. But from what I have seen so far it is looking good.

Work on improvement of a package of Russian architecture to version 3.0 - proceeds.

I correct errors admitted in the previous version and simultaneously I add new houses and objects.

Now in a package already 100 objects.

Do you intend to add a train station, a disused train yard ... some tracks, and disused wagons ?

A lot of these are from STALKER and CoD4

Good pieces of architecture from good games.

Station, rails and train...

Probably I shall add but only then and if someone will ask it for installation on a new island.

Because the relief of district will not allow normally to put rails on standard islands.

Beautiful things, too bad a lot of the buildings have so many bugs :-/ They're 100% useable as backdrop and movie-making material, but only, say, 70% useful in actual missions, which is a little sad.

1) You can shoot through things you're not supposed to be able to shoot through, like the door to the "outdoor toilet" - I'm not talking the cool kind of "bullet penetration" effect BIS has on for instance certain fences here; the bullets just go straight through like there's nothing there.

2) You can't shoot through things you should be able to, like certain small windows on certain buildings.

3) There are still plenty of places where you drop into the ground or wall if you walk wrongly - on the house of factory for instance climbing the (badly proportioned?) ladder ends up with you climbing outside the ladder towards the end. Other buildings have you running inside the floor or inside the stairs if you don't approach them the right way.

Missing LODs is no fun either, of course - I haven't tried destroying them yet, is there a destruction model of the houses or not? smile_o.gif

Anyway - great for backdrop, would love to use them, but it'd also be nice if they'd be polished up so that they wouldn't just be backdrop, eh? smile_o.gif

Excellent initiative otherwise with making buildings! Superb! Please take all of this as constructive criticism rather than anything else. Do continue the good work!

Regards,

Wolfrug

Thanks by all for responses and constructive criticism.

The job above the version 3.0 proceeds also I hope of mistakes in her will be much less, and it is more than new houses:)

I absolutely do not have people of a testing and revealing mistake in models, therefore to find these mistakes very difficultly for me.

In a command there are a lot of people but to work with models I am able only...

To realize model of destruction of buildings, it does not turn out yet.

It is impossible because I can not find the man able to write config in which it is necessary to write replacement of a normal house on destroyed.
