ArmA2 on GC 08, infos from Peter Games

Recommended Posts

Info: ArmA2 and GC 08

So i wrote the staff at Peter Games ( German Publisher ) a mail asking if they show ArmA2 in the public area this year.

As some may know last time it was only shown in the Buisness area.

So heres the Reply:

---

Hallo Herr Xxxxxx,

Alexander Harlander

Rough translation:

Dear Mr.Xxxxxx,

ArmA2 will be shown in the buisness area mainly.

However we have some good news: there will be some Live presentations with real ingame material on some of the public booths.

Currently we have talks with some magazines that could show live scenes on their booths.

A ArmA2 live presentation with developer Bohemia Interactive is sheduled for Friday midday.

This presentation will be availeable via stream on friday, late evening.

As soon as we know more we will post detailled dates on our website, petergames.de .

Regards,

Alexander Harlander

Ok hope that helps some, and sorry for the pretty rough translation...

... a light year ago...

As this makes no sense, I guess you wanted to write a "light year away" instead smile_o.gif , but what that could mean goes above my head. wow_o.gif

By a truely unimaginable twist of fate I actually AM in Leipzig that friday!

Normally i wouldn't be crazy enough to go to some games fair, but i might just do it now!

Is there any more info on where and when the public presentation will be held? Damned i can't find ArmaII on the official games list nor can i find Morphicon/Peter Games/Bohemia Interactive...

Hate to be pedantic, I know a light year is intrinsicaly a distance but by its own means of measurment also defines a time if you consider the speed of light to be a constant, come to think of it , a year has to constant to (and we all know it clearly isn't wink_o.gif )

Clearly he isn't capable of traveling faster than light yet.

I'll get back in my box now.

That would be about the same as saying that km/h would be a time.

A lightyear is a distance,not a timespan, period.

A light year is a distance. If you want to take it as a time span, it is as long as a normal year (but it highly depends on which year you take as a normal year, usually you take the Julian year, at least in the "western hemisphere") and you usually don't take it as a time span.

Closing.
