African Vegetation Pack Beta 1

I've been working on this for a while (on and off for weeks :P). And now here's a public beta. Some models haven't been completed yet so don't blame me if an AI shoots you through 1m trunk biggrin_o.gif .

Also there will be some more new models added in future releases aswell.

Credits:

Thanks for this addon...a new Tonal seems to be nearest.

But I can't find it into the editor. Is correct the config?

Anyone have this problem?

As far as I know, the trees are for use in Visitor 3 only, or am I wrong ?

Oops...but readme say you may put it also in every addons folder of your choice.

Thanks for the awesome work in this. Should be fun making an Island with these. I have an Africa terrain started I wanted to give a try but put it aside for my other two islands. now I have an excuse to continue with it. smile_o.gif

Yes thats right, why do you to place trees with mission editor anyway? As far as I can remember object losses named properties when its placed with mission editor (it will not sway for example). Best to make nice tree clusters with Visitor3 ^_^. But for previewing the models I guess I can add trees to editor aswell next time.  smile_o.gif

Waking up this thread (sorry). But we need Berghoff's work to shine again in A2 map projects. Is it possible for Berghoff to give us instructions how to put these beautiful trees/shrubs to A2 as we did with most of A1 objects? They don't seem to work in latest version of V3 :/

I've managed to fix textures (Berghoff uses /ca/ instead of /brg/) but LODs flicker and some LODs are missing:

I'll have a look next week. Just finished my internship so now I have more spare time. Finishing the trees for ArmAII is first on my list. :)
