ähm i have a strange problem ... after placing all objects in the RTE and exporting it as template to my harddisk i converted it into a sqf file BUT now if i run the sqf file in the RTE to spawn the staff on a map it is all there but twice in the objects list on right side.

can somebody help me out plz? thx alot!

Hey

I got a problem that I need solving!

I've put EVERYTHING in the right place in my arma folder, i've put the contents of the Dta folder in, and I've put the @RTEditor in my icon

BUT! As I load up arma, nothing happens...I press esc and the bar isn't there!

Can anyone help? confused_o.gifhelp.gif

Please make sure you loaded the addon.

To test this ingame use this script:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">isClass (configFile >> "CfgPatches" >> "ArmA_RTE_Editor_4")

If this returns true, RTE was loaded correct.

In this case, you can use the following code to start the RTE:

Where do I put these codes? In the folder of the mission file or on a soldier? of Gamelogic?

Just download this mission:

RTE.Intro.rar

When previewing, the player will say: "RTE IS INSTALLED: X" where 'X' should be TRUE wink_o.gif

Then you can start the RTE using the radio 0-0-1.

If that works, please send me a list of your addons so that I can take a look why the button isn't displayed.

Ive been using this for a while now andi think its great...

One thing anoys me really really much...

Moving around is SOOOO PAINFULLY SLOOOW...

Would be nice to have movement a lot faster OOR, a small minimap

that you can click on to get were you whant alot faster.

When I download this, I get a modfolder and DTA folder and bunch of codes and SQMs.. where do I put these all? sorry for being sooo retard this evening, just dont know how, and its NOT explained in the readme huh.gif

Content:

* @RTEditor:

RealTimeEditor, copy the folder into your ArmA-folder and include it into your '-mod'-list.

* Dta\ION_RTE:

Copy the folder into ArmA/Dta. Edit ION_RTE.h and uncomment the aspectratio you have.

* RTECapture:

Contains RTE Capture which is required for export. More details in section "export".

Easily to see:

I've finally added a map for easy navigation. Waypoints are finally supported and work.

Sadly the handling is not well and I have to but some work in it confused_o.gif Don't expect an update that fast sad_o.gif

Does anyone requires the camera panel?

Elevating the landscape can't be done ingame where such 3D editors work ! rofl.gif

Update is great. Better then great. Awesome is the word I was looking for.

Additions are even better. I love the waypoints and the ability to set weapons now.

I for one don't use the camera panel. It is all do able with Mouse so why use the camera panel is my motto.

Keep up the great work i0n0s.

This tool is great for placement.

Now to try the waypoints.

I forgot to mention that the mini Map would\will be a huge help. I also found it slow going moving around the map to edit.

I would put myself in a chopper fly over to a location and land and get out. It seems the "PLAYER" had to touch the ground to reset where you would start your Edit from.

Is this close to releasable to us or do you still have lots to work on?

Like I said, I can't wait to try out all the new options. ('notworthy.gif'wink_o.gif
