Placebo 29 Posted December 21, 2007 I appreciate that some troubleshooting issues might be too complex to be stuck together in the same thread as everyone else's, but if we can at least give it a try to keep all 1.09 related troubleshooting issues together to start it might help more people out than just the first one to have the problem. Remember to download and install 1.09 before posting 1.09 related troubleshooting issues And make sure to check list of known issues first.

Planck 1 Posted December 21, 2007 Be sure that your shortcut target field is correct: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\beta\arma.exe" -mod=beta -window For example. And also that the Start In field points to the ArmA root folder: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA" Planck

stevevcb 3 Posted December 21, 2007 It installed properly as far as I can tell, but when I try to start 1.09 I get the following errors: Any ideas?
Planck 1 Posted December 21, 2007 If you have Queens Gambit, the hotfix_QG.pbo and its .bisign go in your DBE1\Addons folder in the ArmA root. The addons\hotfix_dbe1.pbo and its .bisign go in your beta\addons folder in arma root. I have no idea about the CA_hotfix you mention there. Planck
Jack-UK 0 Posted December 21, 2007 I had this, when i tried to run using ArmA Launcher, you have to run it directly from the shortcut it creates in your ArmA root folder
mattxr 9 Posted December 21, 2007 How do we get battleeye to work, when we enable it on the server we get an error about missing .dlls and when we go to the website and look for a download there website download page is blank. We added this to the server.cfg battlEye = 1; www.BattlEye.com doesnt have any download links to the dlls or folders or anything
jasono 0 Posted December 21, 2007 Battleye does not work. When starting the server with it enabled (battlEye = 1; ), an error pops up saying that the dll's are not a windows image (or something like that) and i've looked on Battleyes website and their downloads page is blank Edit : Nothing in the beta folder either. Wiki has this Quote[/b] ]new anti cheating methods in multiplayer (including optional www.BattlEye.com depending on server settings: if enabled, be server and be client dlls will be used and automatically updated to your computer) Quote[/b] ]5180 - New: BattlEye protection integration (server admin can enable it using battlEye = 1; in server config) And that's all I can find.. Edit - clan friend 1 minute faster than me, damn you Mattius I can confirm this problem. BE protection will not work at the moment. opteryx 1562 Posted December 21, 2007 Game won't start My shortcut: D:\Spill\ArmA\beta\arma.exe -mod=beta; -mod=DBE1 -nosplash Any ideas? Oh yeah, forgot to mention, It'll start without the -mod=DBE1 bit.
jasono 0 Posted December 21, 2007 What happens with D:\Spill\ArmA\beta\arma.exe -mod=DBE1;beta -nosplash Switched DBE1 and beta around as I had similar problem with 1.08 hotfix some time ago.. AFAIK - Mod folders are loaded in order, so last thing overwrites over classes etc. Therefore the patch which does that needs to be last loaded to overwrite stuff on load. Steeler 0 Posted December 21, 2007 yes I can,but I think I'm solving this prob,I think I made mistake when I patched straight to 1.04 to 1.08. I try one more time 1.04-1.05int--1.08-1.09beta. I think there is my problem, have to put also 1.05. I'll report later.
