Enigma85 2 Posted October 11, 2008 as i recall the DC3 has only just been withdrawn 100% from from passenger service around the world earlier this year. i'm sure it's still used as transport plane for cargo and shuttle plane for sky divers to this day. kremator 1065 Posted October 19, 2008 Now that Mandoble has scripted the AMAZING MMA2.35beta where we can use the USEC_C130 as a Spectre gunship, what is needed is the scripted ability for the aircraft to enter an autopilot around a central position keeping the left side pointed towards the enemy. I know that Mando Bombs does something 'like' this but it is really for the reconnaisance aircraft. It would be good for any aircraft (especially the C130) to orbit a set position (while keeping constant height, constant bank) Possible? Any scripting gods out there able to sort it ? mandoble 1 Posted October 19, 2008 Kremator, you only need a C130 with driver and gunner, being YOU the gunner you can use the camera to guide the AI pilot there where you want. I reckon it'd be simpler to do than a SCUBA diving addon and the old kit is way cooler too. It'd be great clumping around on the ArmA sea bed in huge boots. You could make things to salvage and fix and stuff ("Dusty" Miller actually used to go inside sunken U-Boats during WWI to retrieve code books etc - must have had balls of British steel). I wish working with human figures in ArmA were more straightforward or I'd do it myself (actually tried a helmet dive once IRL - very weird if you're used to skimming about with fins and a bottle on).
