miles teg 1 Posted June 5, 2008 You know that's a good point. I have yet to see an addon with rifles that look all battle worn. The M16's that I've used always had scratched up magazines and with paint knicked off all the sharp edges. vilas 477 Posted June 5, 2008 concerning WW2 and other addons: 1) my first aim now is to finish and publish Project85 mod, in mod everyone have a lot of work, it would be super if we could finish in less than 2 months, with the release there will be update of VIBI (openable hatches and etc.) and WPN (new LAW, XM148 launcher and few small new things) 2) along with the mod i must do some Vietnam era weapons more for Yac project 3) as i will finally get some materials i will update German army addon, cause as far as i know BW Mod will not be releasing for this game, so i can do my own BW addon better (few soldiers more and maybe Leopard tank) 4) i remember about old and now poor addons: > Alien APC and Alien vs. Predator games weapons to update, i have finished normalmapping for APC, for few weapons, but still soldiers models are not made , probably due to lack of time i will not make them like i would like (Alien movie look) > WW2 pack needs definetly update cause it was more import from my OFP packs, than new high quality addon, i wait for answer of one person in term of cooperation, as making all this myself causes lack of quality Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

vilas 477 Posted June 5, 2008 thank you all very much i am just informing that i am pushing to both FTP updates/small fixes of NPL addon and i have already uploaded BW addon too changes: both central Europe armies do not have afro americans in duty, so now Polish and German armies are with white faces only, additionally German army has group defined and fixed wrong weapon class , untill PZF3 is not made, they use Carl Gustav with scope Germans are already on FTP, NPL should be in ca. 1 hour since this post Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

maza94 0 Posted June 12, 2008 Polish soldiers have 6 maybe 8 assault vests. About KLV and OLV thats most popular vests in polish army, you can add few versions for this. ( z postawionym kołnierzem i nie albo pustynny żołnierz mógł by mieć kamizelkę w woodlandzie, itp... ) Oh, and beryl with EOT and Miniberyl is very nesesery for Desert and Woodland soldiers. Any chance you can replace the East boat weapon with Arma dshkm machinegun? can't wait to drive around in something a little bit more protected than the rubber boats of arma Also a idea! What about making also versions with grenade launcher instead of machinegun for both East and West sides and maybe even independent side? Something cool would be boats with Tow launcher, would be kick ass anti tank boats that could give support from the sea when dropping troops into a area with enemy armor. vilas 477 Posted June 12, 2008 PBR shown is made for P85 mod and will be also with other weapons for other Vietnam mod (armed with M60 in rear and Mk 19 too) other boat is OFP "HRL" but as we found so far it is probably fictional boat :/ of course version with heavier gun can be done aswell, but most problematic is that it's construction do not alow it to add front gun too for total reworking, creating new boat we don't have time only rear gun, makes of this boat useless transporter in action, cause mostly in game AI will behave in such way, to have driver in front of movement ;] so rear gunner will not be using his gun to support action Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

fingolfin 1972 Posted June 14, 2008 Hey Vilas! Nics textures on the LAW. Could you please take a look at the attack range of the M79? The enemy has to be very close before they are attacked? I think a bigger range would be more realistic. Keep up the great work! EDIT: Another problem: Units equipped with the M79 always run to the next ammobox to change their gear to handgrenades. There are still a few weapons that haven't made it into the ArmA pack; like the Hungarian and Romanian AKs (hint hint). Looks like you just grabbed duds. I'll take a look as I'm about to start up the game and do some editing. Does the same thing occur in both of the recent updates or just one?
