Goeth 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Actually i´m not worried about the score, i know the game itself is going to kick ass. But the review still seems a bit strange.
oneoff 0 Posted November 9, 2006 i saw an english version by master ? ,he did a good job but it reads like a third language , better than i could do.admitidly i think it starts , the king is dead long live the king Quote[/b] ]King he is gone, no matter what lives king. Often used phrase in connection with continuations. Operation Flashpoint five years ago stabed Czech pennon on worldwide play scene and got behind it well - earned admiration for. What fate waits her follower? • To the left good, to the right rumpus! All know, that the wherewith more exacting play, by more rumpus (termites, to was mine quirk twigged). Authors Oblivionu would could tell long o'clock, even Ye also "simple" Battlefieldy tinker up day and night. Nor Flashpointu stroke lovely activity unavoidable accident and it is possible expect, that the Armed Assault to the shop, despite of extensive tests, some you sallenders also will bring. Installation final Czech version however began very quickly school mine computer at that, how much copes spontaneous falls to the Windows during ten minutes. It issue you undisclosed, but was it roughly so frequent like overcharge chambers in Counter- Striku. Gun so largely during operation with graphic setting games and otukavanim multiplayeru. It is possible above by say about lash arm, at least until is by herself play stationary and you neocitnete on own flat during head - on attack on enemy base, which fortunately lack of courage not once. Much greater difficulty had however Armed Assault with my graphic card. GeForce 6600GT evidently be out of court among preferred mock - up. Nejdriv me play pertinacious barred high chicken postprocessingu, when eloquently fell with bug message right in Windows and later already straight provoked by, that the at playing abhorred parget you correct fabric on the correct seats. Be quite well possible to, that the be the only desirable on planet provincial that the this regretful business befell, but nor gamma exchanges in team drivers effect not at all unrelieved. On any setting am simply in turns followed absolutely bare objects (monochromatic box beside by other monochromatic boxs) and only sometimes me was admissible take a view of play in her full eye - appeal. Famous spectrum details in short with my configuration too misunderstand namely so to a great extent, that the me it at playing considerably pestered. If you e.g . will ungifted fabric stop, you can hundredfold try skirt "invisible" masonry. Already seriously please on first, second and third stale mate. At that time already perhaps will from Armed Assault play that the behind themselves doesn't need to be bashful. Heavy it is possible but expect, that the will repair already mentioned operating cars, neprustrelnost series windows innocent of glass and next suspicious phenomena that the remember already from original Flashpointu. Such oddments know how to pull down day and Armed Assault them unfortunately serve too much. i trimmed it down ,it was unreadable, i picked this out why he gave it bad i think it upset him cause he crashed to windows very often. Adamicz 3 Posted November 9, 2006 talking about the textures on some tiscali screens (like here: http://games.tiscali.cz/reviews/arma/img8.jpg) ...the reviewer had in the game problems with GFX drivers for his 6600GT card. He mentioned it in the review. That's the driver problem, it's not capture of the game with low detail settings. I'm really curious what will tell me my 6600GT card tomorrow
majorpwnage 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Maybe the game is a little rough, it was developed quite fast... Quite fast? Â what rock have you lived under for the past 5 years?
oneoff 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Quote[/b] ]Quite fast? what rock have you lived under for the past 5 years? you might be thinking of ofp2 m8. this is amred assault the mix of ofp elite and vbs, they spat this out in 14 months;)
Ian Malcolm 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Maybe the game is a little rough, it was developed quite fast... Quite fast? what rock have you lived under for the past 5 years? Wasn't XBox version released last year? It means if ArmA development started after XBox, the game was in development less than 2 years.
Straw Dog 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Don't worry guys. I just translated the verdict paragraphs in that review with professional aid from some czech-to-english engine. VERDIKT: Sport která toho tender maybe when pÃliÅ¡ much sake pÃliÅ¡ a few lidÃ. Superior user pÃtulnost plus superior tuning by certain shift valuation somewhat výš takhle them Armed Assault solely nambypamby upgradem plus suggestion toho , that to teba once upon a time substantiate sincerely pokraovánà Operation Flashpoint. Tohle to dá nibble like sure trial naneisto. Sinus what bude wish vtÅ¡Ã analysed plus maybe too somewhat rozhlÞenà , that motorcar tsn ped warding off njak nezakopli. Altho i disagree with the "Tohle do dá nibble" i think two eggs is more than enough for that stew. "njak nezakopli" dries up faster if you put in the owen. Apart from that -i congrat BIS and will buy it with or without the poo-smell.
Cannon Fodder 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Is this a hatchet job on BIS? Who in their right mind would review a game on quite frankly marginal hardware, that CLEARLY has problems rendering the game, and post screenshots of that in action?! Then complain about it crashing their computer when they're struggling to render it? AND STILL GIVE IT A LOW SCORE?! In what way, shape or form does that review represent an accurate portrayal of the game? Simply; it doesn't.
Kev 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Here are new informations directly from germany!!! There is a new review out from pc powerplay with a nice video and awsome sound. better and fantastic sound of weapons and tanks. Check this Video OUT! they say that this game rocks the house, the next review will be at 95 percent or more. Also the German Market and Morphicon made a statement about the allready pre Order-sells of ArmA. "Armed Assault will be the Winter Top Hit 2006" The german market has almost the same sell numbers like 2001 with OFP. So it can be, that we are on the way to 1 million sales for germany and neighbor countrys. People please dont use the name "Tiscalli" in this forum. Everybody knows that Tiscalli sucks, allready u can see that they are to stupid to get graphic settings handled. For everybody who understands german or wants to translate, here the link to the pc powerplay preview: PC Powerplay Preview Greetz, VenoM Also a Congratz to Bohemia Interactive Studios. My christmas wishes becoming true. Last year i was mad about the news that ArmA will take longer. Then i hoped that it comes 2006 and not 2007. Now where Morphicon says that 30. November 2006 is a 100% release date that wont change, i know that my wishes come true. Now i know, that i will sit in my uniform in front of my PC this winter and have great Online Battles with nice Flashpoint Community people. Thx & Nice job @ BI's

Quite simple, people who apparently do not understand computers or know what they are doing and people who want to degrade the game and make others think it is bad,I have seen people with personal hate for OFP that would stop at nothing to make others think its worthless, and though this may sound 'gamist',they are usually bf2 players. meyamoti 0 Posted November 10, 2006 And very well from what I can see,the island and everyone,an island that large to detail isn't able to be done in such a short amount of time,I bet they were up there day and night considering the small team of people. xnodunitx 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Those that are also mature thinkers will know that simply stating the word "some" in partition to a group of people does not apply to the entire genre. So it faults on both sides.
Sturmwolf 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Finally its Gold. So all the waiting is now over? Today I started designing a mission for ArmA on paper, and now this news. Just great, congratulations, BIS.
