As I'm very impatient for this game I ordered the german version from amazon.de, does anyone know how much it'll take them approximately to deliver it when it's released? I can read/speak a bit german, but I can't find any info on the order confirmation mail or anywhere else.

lets see, i used to get about $320 pocket money from my farther each month when i was in from 4,5(which should be high school in other places), after cutting down all needed expands(taking buses, getting lunch, spend some for mags and other stuffs) there is about 200 left, which means if i want to get enought money for a $1500 gaming rig i would need to save it for 8 mouths incase you dont want to have parttime job, and games usually cause around $50, and shits may happens

Should be possible to change it into english. I will check it out. The voices are most probably in english.

EDIT: Does the polish version also have Starforce?

You might be mixing things up there Nilz...

As far as I know the polish version is not released. Further the Czech version does not come with English voices but the German does.

But the protection system of the upcoming polish version will most probably be Starforce.

As only the CZ version is already released, no.

The german version will come with Securom though.

Well it's more profitable than if we hadn't agreed for a published version to be released there.......

With that being said. Isnt it then a big mistake not to have the game released atleast in europe within a short period of time instead of the current situation.

Fact is that the two biggest gaming stores here in denmark and prolly europe, Game and EBgames(4400 stores worldwide) dont even know about the game here.

And even though you dont like it, if i wanted to get my hands on a non-sold version (which i dont). It would only take me a couple of hours to get it. And then i wouldnt even have the problem with a well talked about feature on the published version.

Instead i will have to wait x amount of time to get something that people across the border have, because the international version are being released last.

I know several stores that would import the game if there was a international version out but no publisher, and then do their own PR for the game. But they would never touch a national versioned game. And would think it would be the same in many other countries. So the issues with publishers isnt bigger than you make it

Ps. And not to talk about the loss of not having it in stores for the x-mas sales.

from what people on other forums say, the delay is not a big loss. Hopefully BIS will use this time to fix all the bugs and improve the apparently very bad AI.

This only proves my theory why there is no demo. No one would buy the game after playing the demo. Or at least not that many people.

Just a quick question about the German version of ARMA, which im considering purchasing. will it be censored in anyway at all? Ala SOF 2, UT (humans replaced by robots.) or is it exactly the same in terms of game content. Thanks.
