About the new picture: It looks lush! The new animations are pretty darn nice. Though I dont really like the fact that it looks like they make some fast movements while holding their weapon with one hand. If you're carring a heavy Mgun, this looks a bit... odd.

Wildlife.. I doubt there will be any bigger animals in ArmA, though it would be easy for BIS to create new ones, like those in VBS1. Maybe Porter will go on a tripp and snap some shots of the local wildlife.

What i'm wondering about is; why he's fully equiped?

Is there maybe already some danger in sight, or is it just some

kind of protection against the sun?

there and if ILS leads to the choosen one - or do they just

There are no dogs where i live either or anyother widllife so to speak , except for the stray city cats and birds. But then again citys shown in ArmA are rural based towns rather then a proper urbanized city.

Still we got them butterfly's and birds should be enough but a wild dog which happens to spawn randomly on the map very rarely would be an awesome feature. Should scare the shit out of you if on a night mission your crawling around the enemys perimeter and some dog comes pouncing on you . Maybe enemy AI could also use them to pick up scents and stuff? Then hiding in bushes would be a problem too. Oh well addons and mission/scripts can make all that become a reality , no big deal if BIS doesnt do this.

FFS, It's a screenshot, what do you expect? A whole life cycle in a snapshot? If I were to go on my roof this instant and take a picture it would prettymuch be empty. What's the next thing you're gonna whine about? No mag in the pouch? From the pics, at least we know BIS is working on it, and I don't think their goal is to make another SimCity/Sims.

Also, use some imagination if you care about such detail, maybe there is a sniper in the woods over there, or another squad of US soldiers behind the buildings.

As long as the community is getting their weekly dose of Assaultamine from Will, I think we're gonna be fine.

I made a script in OFP that would make the civ's walk around a town, made a town really come alive.

The next part of the script was a "find the closest person and talk to them randomly"

By plane or ship?  Prehaps they flew the whole task force in...

Although, i'd like to see the Northeners or the Southerners...or even the civilian population.  All we've seen are a couple of US troops (staticly) running about the place.

I'd like to see what I can shoot at when i set my virtual foot on the island.

Also looking at the faces of Will and his pals, i don't think we'll be able to put our own custom faces in this game. Shame.

(Be funny to have some kind of "make your own bloke" thing, like in "Sims2" or "The Movies".  Emagine that)
