This is due to the High reso Islands packs, if you read its readme , you'd notice that the AI don't drive correctly in these islands. When i had this problem, i removed the Hires islands from my install and I reinstalled BIS old ones. The problem was still here, that's why i think it could be related to the 1985 woodland pack only. When i will have more time i will reinstall this pack and test again the 3rd mission and see if I still notice the problem. InteractiveBohemian 0 Posted October 27, 2005 Problem: The machinegunners suck I did a test in a sterile environment i.e. desert island - maschinegunner shooting at closing target. The only time he hit his target beyond 50 meters was with 0 skill. Otherwise he simply shot over the target. I consider the machinegun to be my primary squad weapon but the fact that it's almost totally useless kind of messes up my strategy. The rifles and recoils and everything else is just great. FW200 0 Posted October 27, 2005 Both 2005 and 1985-AS VAL has 64 round magazines I have not yet installed this mod (My computer sucks to be honest, I can only start up desert island reliably) , but I just noticed this post... Do you have an AS VAL in 1985? That would be quite a feat, considering the development of the VSS Vintorez started in 1987, and the AS VAL is based on the VSS... 456820 0 Posted October 27, 2005 ive not found any bugs but ive found little nigles, like the huey used in the asian scris pack seems to only hold 9 men when the blackhawk in all the others hald 12 men and therefore means some missions all men cant be in the chopper so you run into aload of fall back into formation and where are you i dont know what to do to fix it maybe add more cargo places bu i dont know how i aint no addon editor im a mission editor Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
echo1 0 Posted October 27, 2005 Okay, me being a perfectionist bastard as usual - Satchel charges in the Asia pack still have BIS model. - Certain AT Launcers wont lock on, and the AT4 and Dragon do lock on when they shouldnt (They are SACLOS weapons) - You said the Glock would be replaced with SJBs, Im not sure about the '85 packs, but in the 05 pack its quite definatly the old BIS model - Chinese AT/RPG troops are armed with Spec Ops QBZ-95 A couple of recomendations: - Grey Camo A10 for the modern mod - Stinger model replaced by BOH AA Launcher model (I know theyre different weapons, but they look very similar) - ORCS RPG-26 for 05 Russian RPG gunner - OFPL Dragunov & PKM - Would you consider giving the units more realistic names like the ones in WGL? ESFD 0 Posted October 27, 2005 The driver hatch thing, I think... class HatchDriver { selection = "poklop_driver"; axis = "osa_poklop_driver"; angle = 150; <---- This number has to be changed (it's a copy from the Combat M113 pack config). You don't have to change the models. M203 sights: There are two numbers on it - "1" (100m) and "2" (200m). These numbers should be switched cause aiming with "1" fires the grenade 200m. Yes, the A10 MG is powerful because of DU rounds and high rate of fire but it doesn't leave huge craters. I compared the original cobra by Vit and the one in FFUR. In FFUR the cobra only has these rails but no missiles attached to them. They are too small to be tubes because TOWs wouldn't fit in there. Don't know where I got the memory of AA missles, WGL perhaps. Maybe give them Sidewinder model (from planes). It looks a lot more like a stinger than a Javelin does. I don't have the original addons to check out the Mi17, but I think the suspension is also a matter of config not the model. For the Mi24, right now the model and "shooting style" of the MG don't fit together. The current Mi24 should have lower ROF and higher damage bullets (20mm/30mm). The high ROF 12.7mm is best suited to the Mi24 tha has the nose turret. Sorry for my limited english and "whining" but I'd love to see FFUR at it's best... 456820 0 Posted October 27, 2005 when may we be expecting these patches ? also in the island packs it says theres no way of getting them on FFUR without replacing the orignal i found a way simply create a worlds fodler in your FFUR folder and put the files in there which should then put the others in your dta FFUR folder works fine for me no errors also can we get any pics of these island packs and is the high res island pack the WGL islands ? becuase the low res packs dont make much of a change but i dont like the WGL islands since intros can go missing and some times choppers crash into the taller trees Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
