Messiah 2 Posted November 10, 2006 @ Iam Malcom... this is the OFP forum... thats not OFP... I think it would be wiser to ask the Mods to start a Arma CP thread on the Arma forum, rather than come on this forum and deliberatly rub our noses in it (not saying that was your intention, but thats what it comes across as)
ShadowY 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Nice ArmA shots ian malcolm...only thing I want to hear is what system specs you have and are those the highest settings??...just curious
Ian Malcolm 0 Posted November 10, 2006 this is the OFP forum... thats not OFP... You should read more carefully the topic - OFP ENGINE BASED... wich ArmA clearly is Oh... my spec: Intel Pentium4 3Ghz, 1Gig RAM, ATI Radeon X800. And no... those aren't the highest settings. My GC doesn't have enough memory, to let me use textures at maximum detail. Also shadows aren't set at max. Just normal.
Messiah 2 Posted November 10, 2006 neah, its Arma engine based still, out of consideration for others surely... have a heart
Mr Sarkey 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I would probably say Arm.A has a much more advanced engine than OFP's. SO they are different, I dont reckon they should be there. EDIT: read the title of the title of the thread, it says no ArmA pictures.
Placebo 29 Posted November 10, 2006 The thread subtitle has been edited, Flashpoint Photography is for Opf and VBS screenshots only, ArmA General has an ArmA Photography thread.
Mr Sarkey 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Good, because some people have still got OFP for a couple of months yet. Come on 2007 . Nice shots of the tank loony.

franze 196 Posted November 12, 2006 Woo Franze the release of those babies seems close or am i mistaken Cant wait to get my hands on this stuff to finally make some decent helo missions with the Apache. Thanks for the kind words, and I'd hope release is soon. Unless someone throws a monkey wrench in my plans! Quote[/b] ]Like the F18, hopefully we now have a Hornet with afterburner and multiple missiles! Looks great! AIM-9, AIM-120, AIM-7, AGM-65, AGM-154, and AGM-88 to be exact. Not counting bombs. AB pushes you to about 1200kmh, but it costs you mega on fuel. Better have that F/A-18F with Buddy Pod handy for those long flights!
MehMan 0 Posted November 12, 2006 @ mp_phonix it's the NamSky which can be found on ofp.info I think it might be identical to Llamaux's skypack, but I'm not sure.

j w 0 Posted November 13, 2006 Is ArmA the death of OFP Photography?
mr burns 132 Posted November 13, 2006 imho VBS already gave the death blow to OFP:CP. We also hadn´t had any CP Awards since it´s release
MAA 127 Posted November 14, 2006 @Mr Burns: Great screens from Update2, thanx
sv5000 127 Posted November 14, 2006 All these peeps going on and on about VBS...I got it and it aint all that special.... I use OFP way more the VBS. VBS is such a sterile environment compared to ofp. And yes I have all the modules for VBS, and the only ones worth the coin were USarmy1 (Combat) and TP3 for lizardia (CSLA) The only person who consistantly posts uber screenshots of VBS1 is parvus, and he blesses the ofp.cp thread with shots from ofp that are just as good. I just think that ArmA will naturally strip players from ofp becasue its the new toy. VBS took only a handful of peeps and a couple of addons. Mr.Burns..great shots btw
j w 0 Posted November 14, 2006 The only person who consistantly posts uber screenshots of VBS1 is parvus, and he blesses the ofp.cp thread with shots from ofp that are just as good. Yeah, and he spends half an hour in PS before posting them on the forums, so meh
Messiah 2 Posted November 14, 2006 Is ArmA the death of OFP Photography? forgive me if I dont shed a tear... CP was the death of useful, well made and playable addons as addon makers turned to whoreability and graphics rather than how the thing actually worked in SP and MP. Marcus-Ergalla 0 Posted November 14, 2006 Nice screens Parvus and Ingram RHS, Tonal Redux and now CSLA... three great mods in one week... the hell with it
