*EDIT* To above post... Remember that the APAM is a 120mm buckshot, in other words, a huge shotgun. It's not meant to be very accurate.

I was wondering aren't the Abrams equipt with HEAT rounds in real life? Are the Heat rounds subsituted in this addon?

yes I still had some troubles with MOUT, BUT I do like the small new tweaks like the commander sights really nice...

And the machine gun is much more powerfull, but the MG that you fire is the 7.62. But when your not outside I think you fire the gun that is next to the main gun, and isnt that a 50cal???

I can hear you guys going crazy_o.gif what's he on about....

Like SIG's tanks had! 1 50cal next to the turret and the 762 fictional on the roof...

So maybee you guys could implement the normal 50cal till the commander gun starts working.? smile_o.gif

The coaxial machine gun is 7.62mm M240, NOT .50 cal.

Are. MPAT-T is another name for HEAT-MP-T M830A1 round. There was few word on topic about previous version of INQ_M1A2, but here`s link about that ammo:

Buckshot effect of APAM firing probably would be better than present. And once again, MPAT hit looks great but a little exaggerated... it is not thermobaric warhead wink_o.gif

Just a short test, but when I fired that apam round from 3rd person view I got a CTD.

I will test a bit more today.

Works fine for me. And both of the Desert versions textures are randomized, so any combo is possible? Nice.

The new tracers surprised me first, but I'm getting used to them.

The APAM is still a bit... Strange...

And thanks for including the green version without markings, now Tonali SF got a new toy. Poor rebels. They didn't have a chance when I... Ahem... Practiced...

I've had no CTDs using the APAM-T in 3rd person either.

I've noticed that I'm not getting the effect when the MPAT hits something. It worked the very first time I used it but hasn't since. Maybe because I'm using FDF mod? rock.gif

First time i tried the ammo and my OFP crashed. I haven`t tried it again... wink_o.gif

OK what am I doing wrong. Locked on to bmp at 900m. Loaded STAFF round... got the box and diamond on the tank when I aim above it. Fired 5 rounds .... nothing happend.. How do you make the staff round work.

The M240 still fires odd, depending on what the zoom ratio is, not bad, it just might be the spread pattern and I'll have to get use to it. wink_o.gif   The STAFF worked well for me in 1st and 3rd perspective,  I was able to take out BIS t-80's from around a corner of a mountain on Agent Smith's/CAT's desert island @>800m.  APAM has worked well, only tried 8-10 times though @ about 350 to <500m.  The MPAT may be a bit dramatic, but I appreciate it's punch!  Did enough damage to let me reload and fire again before the AI got a good solution on me.  Thanks King Homer and T_D!

Very nice M1A2 pack, kudos to everyone involved!

Is it possible to disable various scripts by setting global variables FALSE (like CBT's stuff)?

If you wonder why, this is important to get all new cool stuff working with different addons/fx and since it's easy to implement (just global bolean variables and checks) I hope all addons makers follow CBT's suit.

Thanks again for a great addon!

Nice addon. I just got 2.0.

I like the "UP" status from the loader. Sounds like you got the file from Steel Beasts. Anyway, it adds one more touch of atmosphere to game.

Also, I'm glad you didn't reinvent the wheel, and built upon other notable addons, ie using CBT crewmen in your vehicles.

i get a error message everytime i have these tanks in a mission and isnt in the crew...

it sais "\TACTEvents\PlayerOnInit.sqs not found" (or something similar)

whats up with this?

as i said, it occurs EVERYTIME i have these tanks and isnt part of the crew, if im part of the crew it works fine.

Love this tank! Great addon.

But I think its performance could be tweaked a little, most of the time when facing T-90's or T-80's at a pretty good distance on flat land the M1's always overshoot and end up getting wiped out.

I watched this repeatedly overhead from a helo and most of the time an Abrams will overshoot unless the oposing tank is moving in or in a closer range.
