FW200 0 Posted January 21, 2005 Now here's my baby...http://koti.welho.com/amustone/kuvat/suomi.jpg And the bad news: it's deactivated. The sling looks like shit in that parade-white. But then again it has actually seen service in Winter War and Continuation War.... Quote[/b] ]I recently bought a 91/30 Mosin Nagant from Tula... I'd like to buy one too for the 'collection'. Working or deactivated. its a PPSH right like on call of duty No, it's a Suomi SMG Oh and please don't quote any images
Ares1978 0 Posted January 21, 2005 Well sad enough, our world isn't full of people like you who can use their guns in a smart way. Actually it is full of people like him who can use their guns in a smart way. Unfortunately there are always a few (very few) that won't follow the rules. ***friendlyfire***, no it isn't. shadow 6 Posted January 21, 2005 Like Blake said earlier, this is not a gun policy thread. Discuss the firearms posted, but not the regulations. We all know gun-controll only controls the law abiding citizen, not the criminals. Period.
shadow 6 Posted January 21, 2005 All i have is a mossberg 500. I also have a 1000fps pellet gun if that counts. Do you know the weight in grains of those pellets? Sounds like a awful high chamber-preassure to achieve that velocity considering a normal 9x19 FMJ 115 grain bullet travels at around 1200fps (depending on barrel length). havocsquad 0 Posted January 26, 2005 Well, right now I'm putting my firearms needs on hold until I get enough saved to move out of where I live to better locations for my career. My plans for purchasing however include: Pistol: Either a Kimber Pro BP Ten II .45 ACP, a USP .45 or 10mm, or a Beretta 92f in 10mm (if possible) Rifle: Browning A-Bolt Hunting rifle in .270, an SKS (put poly stock on it) or civilian model AK-47, Ruger 10/22 carbine, and maybe a AR-15. Shotgun: Most likely a Remington 1100 in 12 Gauge, can't think of any other brand or model I'd probably want. Later, Havoc.

Blake 0 Posted January 27, 2005 Collection increased by one (sadly) deactivated rifle, the M39 'Ukko-Pekka' which is probably finest Mosin-Nagant clone ever made. On the right is Suomi M31 SMG with 71-rnd. drum mag attached.
desantnik 0 Posted January 27, 2005 Is the soumi still activated? Also where did you get your hands on these awesome things?
Ares1978 0 Posted January 27, 2005 Is the soumi still activated? Also where did you get your hands on these awesome things? The suomi is deactivated. At least that's what he said before. The army started auctioning their old weapons a few years ago, essentially flooding the market with M39's in excellent condition and deactivated suomis and Maxims. Have a functioning M39 myself. Billabong81 0 Posted January 27, 2005 Sweet collection MadMedic. You could arm a private army with your armory .
Blake 0 Posted January 27, 2005 Madmedic your arsenal is quite impressive indeed, quite enough to start your own Iraq security firm Working M39 is quite cheap and easy to find these days. Over here I recon you have to be 'certified gun collector' to own a working Suomi M31 (somebody knowing more of these issues could enlighten this a bit more). DarkLight 0 Posted January 27, 2005 Is the soumi still activated? Also where did you get your hands on these awesome things? Search for marckets where only militairy stuff is being sold... a lot of (european) countries have marckets like this once in a while. You can find all sorts of stuff over there for a reasonable price... I dunno if it's easy to find such guns in your country, but it isn't that hard at all here...
