Jackal326 1182 Posted April 7, 2004 OK, the pack has finally uploaded (damn 56k). It can be found over at http://sjb.ofpr.com/tos/. Please remember it is a PUBLIC BETA so expect a few bugs. If you do uncover any bugs, please let me know either here, or over at the SJB Forums. The readme.txt covers all relevent class-names etc so refer to that if you want to add the weapons to units of you own via the init line. I'm off for a rest now after smacking my 56K almost to the point of destruction Edit: By the way, mirrors are always welcomed. Thanks.

redliner47 0 Posted April 7, 2004 hey when i click on the DL link it says that there are no downloads, whats up with that?
Gordy 0 Posted April 7, 2004 They look great. Weapons too. I love the change over anim (switch M4 to USP and back). One question: Why, oh why did you use BIS models for SJB weapons? HYK'd be better.
CanadianTerror 0 Posted April 7, 2004 Nice work! Thumbs up!
Sgt. Stryker 0 Posted April 7, 2004 i love them i just have one problem, no earpices/ mouthpieces (radio)? also another thing i noticed was that the sound of the USP is WAY louder than the m4. that m1911 is so god damn sexy.
Jackal326 1182 Posted April 8, 2004 They DO have an earpiece, just not 100% like the one featured in the film, and they don't have conventional microphones, but 'throat-mics' (check out there necks, and you'll see them then. Sounds will be tweaked (its on my ever increasing in length 'To Do' list, right at the very top). I agree that the HYK modern infantry would be better, but its a) Another addon to download for them to work, b) I like to have my addons as 'all-inclusive' and want to minimize the number of 3rd party addons that are required. c) You can add my weapons to the HYK units with the numerous commands anyway :P
GoOB 0 Posted April 8, 2004 Downloading now, just what I want to see after a night/morning of MFCTI and coop! OFP is a great game, very great indeed! EDIT: After a quick spin in the editor all I can say is "wow" truly impressed. Great work! Look great on Tonal and Ilo Ilo.

Drill Sergeant 0 Posted April 8, 2004 (gmneal @ Mar. 16 2004,18:48) said: Jackal, just so you know, the SEALS, as well as Army Special forces, no longer use the HK MK 23 aka SOCOM anymore. It was replaced by the SIG P226. The reason I know this is because I am a gunner's mate; and my instructor is a Naval Special Warefare Small Arms (SAAMI) Instructor for SEAL Team 1. Whoah this is the first time I've heard of a gear restriction among the US SOF. Did they make them turn in their Mk23's or are they just no longer ishueing them? Â
Gordy 0 Posted April 8, 2004 I thought Nave Seals had a free choice of weapons. I know they like P-226, that's why they use it. They also like using M14 even though it's gone from the army more that 20 years.
Cpt. FrostBite 0 Posted April 8, 2004 The m14 has never been "gone" and is still in use with the army, but now in a more dedicated role : the designated marksman rife. As a "normal" assault rifle it is in use with the special forces.
MSpencer 0 Posted April 8, 2004 http://sjb.ofpr.com/tos/downloads/credits.txt Some light reading. Call me objective, but ever since I got screamed at for taking some time off, I haven't exactly been the best of the community towards SJB. After reading the credits for the handgun pack, I had an anurism. Stop using other people's work, it's not right to take someone's work and slap a scope on it. Something else: http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=3229 I'm not being bitchy about this, I'm simply stating the facts that I have noticed as an ex-mission maker and now a credit-reader.
