Let's give a good support for RHS! By this I mean like not downloading this new ORCS addon, as the textures we're stolen. First DRF mod (MVD Spetznatz was it?) stole your textures and now ORCS!? Shit...!

i thought the orc's troops seemed familar to the rhs beta troops that i had . I think denorc should just be glad he doesnt live in the same country as kenji . but anyway i find this whole thing very disapointing and i cant wait for the rhs troops to get released as they will blow everything else away from what ive seen.

ps. for those that dont know the reason i have the betas is because im a good friend of kenji and he left me his pc when he moved to japan

Haha not a bad suggestion Avon. I personally stand by RHS, and I do not even understand the reason behind the things denorc said. This really ruins the mood of here at the boards, I know that RHS will pull through it and once you start releasing your addons it will over-shadow any addons previously released by anyone else. This sort of nonsense does need to stop. I think Messiah put it best;

Although I'm not completely sure why this stuff get's stolen. It's very cheap. I have never even considered using other people's work without written permission (for a future public release addon, I mean). I can't really understand why others do these thing. It's sad really

we're working on the t-64 models and textures right now. we already added recoil/suspension anims, working headlights...

the t-55 scripts were fixed in some points (mp on dedicated servers). the update will be released together with the t-64s

Good news. The T-55 is very nice to shoot at, but not really a challenge (is completely correct as in RL, though). The T-64 is already a much better tank.

At LLW (my sig) we keep most things secret untill shortly before the release. I think that's the best way to do it.

Yes we still work hard on many things, the huge weaponpack finally enters the final phase wich is the base for most releases of units.

The human models were all redone, nice round arms and legs no more edgy body parts.

Also many textures were exchanged, i often hear we shall not talk about addon stealing cause we take stuff from Ghost Recon, well we do but thats a bit different and wherever we can find better references we try to exchange GR textures for better ones.

The amount of GR textures will be tiny in the final release.

Also there is a big surprise upcomming wich will give the non vbs owners something they might want to have...

Please dont ask about it and let it surprise you.

Good to hear that the T-55's are realistic. Which is to say, you approve of them being damn near useless - just like real life. Then there's the -64, already much better. Aye, and wait for the -72s, -80s.

Oh, and here's a useful link I picked up off the RHS forums. and here is the direct link to the Russian ranks set. I think they can also be transliterated into Cryllic, for proper pronounciation - only really useful to those among us that read Cryllic, but what the hey.

They're not useless when you're operating a Milan and there's fifteen of them trundling towards you
