probably never...

here's the F-4 pre-strike, updated to use Footmunches' sweet F-4

The initial fly-past to scout the area for targets, and let the FAC designate targets:

Very impressive DeadMeatXM2. How do you get the F-4s to tag so nicely along each other?

ty. biggrin_o.gif

The camera is easy, Nagual taught me this one:

Name your unit whatever, in this case I'll call it DM.

Then, in a trigger, write:

DM exec "camera.sqs"

Its up to you whether the trigger is activated automatically, or via a radio call (this is handy if there's some final set up you need to do)

The camera will start at ground level, facing north, and in the center of whatever unit you called DM (this can be anything, from a soldier to a helicopter H).

And thats all there is to it. Move around with the arrow keys, pan with the number pad, and press 'L' to get rid of the crosshair.

They're on seperate waypoints, its the best way to stop the AI f***ing you around. Simply make sure the waypoints run along the same sort of line, and are both set to the same speed i.e. normal, full or limited.

Then its just up to you to make the spacing just right for that perfect shot wink_o.gif
