Jamesia 0 Posted September 30, 2003 It's not difficult to check filesizes, in future we will start taking posts off people who are aware of the 100kb rule but don't follow it.Do not post reposts please, on this occasion I won't delete your post but don't do it again, if you want Harnu or anyone else to see your pic then PM them the URL of the pic or the URL of the page the pic is on. It is difficult to check filesizes. I have no idea what 100kb is cos it isnt 100kb its something stupid. AND HOW THE HECK DO YOU KNOW THEY'RE REPEATS?!
Placebo 29 Posted September 30, 2003 Yes you do, it's been explained before in this thread, to you. 100kb = 102400 bytes. I don't know they're repeats, but if someone posts a repeat now that I've clearly stated they're not allowed and I find out later that it's a repeat I will take whatever action I feel necessary, probably a warning level increase and a PR. Jamesia 0 Posted September 30, 2003 Yes you do, it's been explained before in this thread, to you.100kb = 102400 bytes. Can i explain to you lot what 100kb ACTUALLY means?! N placebo u just shot urself in the foot (well you probably didnt but I am going to twist it and warp it and make it look like you have).... Ok, baer with me (however the heck u spell it)......... Prefixes (just done these in physics): Kila = 10 to the power 3 = 1000...... Ok........... now if we have 100 of these lovely kila things.... we have to times 1000 by 100..... now this is where I think some of you get confused. 100 timesed by 1000 is NOT 102400, it is in fact 100000. Sooooooooo now, its not very difficult to convert it into bytes...... meaning we have to simply take this into consideration with bytes.... simply by adding a b on the end. So there we have it..... 100kb = 100000 BYTES!!!!!! And also I say u shot urself in the foot: Quote[/b] ][im]http://members.fortunecity.com/jamesia999/sexy6.jpg[/img] 108kb you said it is 108kb. The actual file size is 108000 (ish) bytes. This is like with my way of doing it. So why do you suddenly switch to my way of doing it?!?!?!?! If you kept to your method it would be something stupid like 104kb - actually I think thats about right. EXPLAIN MR PLACEBO!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrr
Placebo 29 Posted September 30, 2003 I've already explained, a kilobyte is a computer term, in computers a kilobyte is 1024 bytes, and that is the end of the matter, if you wish to be post restricted for arguing with a moderator then go ahead.
da12thMonkey 1943 Posted September 30, 2003 me2..is this a sign? will the OFP-World comes to an end? What will follow? http://home.arcor.de/parvus/fun/OFP-put.jpg Somebody an answer? Same thing happened to me! Thing is, that it was CD1 of OFP GotYE that shattered; hence I haven't been able to play the game at all for several weeks. I just hope the replacement I sent for from Codemasters arrives soon.
Placebo 29 Posted September 30, 2003 As unfortunate as it is for Opf CD's to break this thread is for "Ofp combat photography" and for the discussion of Ofp combat photography, not for anything else, please stick to the thread title.

It looks like it really is evil. Â Â As for your uploader, i can't log in. When i enter that username and pass and click on the log in button, nothing happens. Â Â And Skul, there is no need to quote pictures. It's messy. Nobody really likes to look at those big frames with that little X.

Skul 0 Posted September 30, 2003 I think I've figured out why Dmitri appears more than once in OFP.... There's more than one Dmitri! From left to right, there's the officer from CWC: Ambush, some random West soldier, himself as a grunt in RH, himself as a Spetz Natz in RH, the guy who fixes Victor Troska's bike in Resistance, and various civvies from the missions! ...The bastard...
