d3lta 10 Posted December 20, 2011 Please BIS , for the ARMA3 and coop missions, change the order of elements in a starting mission : - First: General Briefing with access to see Tasks, notes, map, other info..., etc - Second: Players can to choice slots to play. - Third: Mission starts. Today in Arma2, is a problem to play a mission, because we needs to read the briefing and after restart the mission to choice the slots for the players... Ps. Sorry, my English is not enough... Best Regards...
NoRailgunner 0 Posted December 20, 2011 Its important to have a Diver Detection Sonar for the main faction(s): http://www.dsit.co.il/SiteFiles/1/79/5368.asp Would be wrong to put a blind eye on such developments and let the player feel safe/too comfortable just diving around... ;)
flattermann 12 Posted December 21, 2011 Perhaps someone already wished for that - anyway, an awesome feature would be changing seasons depending on the month ingame. So if the ingame month is set to October / November it would rain and thunder a lot, in December - Febuary there would snow be falling, etc. Even though that would probably not really be appropriate to the environment being set in Greece, yet there's snow falling in the Mediteranian sometimes too. Having a white island covered in snow, with sounds slightly absorbed is a thing i have dreamed of since i began to play bis games and it'd be perfect without having to install extra community addons. cychou 11 Posted December 21, 2011 let's fusion all the future Arma 3 ACE-mod fix and improvements directly into Arma 3 vanila version patch. it's stupid to separate bugs and requested features into two differents developments. I mean ACE-mod improvements and features should be what vanila looks like. all the communauty players should use ACE features via direct implementation with vanila patch. (because lots of servers don't want or don't know how to use ACE) ACE shouldn't be a third party mod but official update for vanila. Just check How many fix have been done with ACE for Arma 2 and compare the result with the standard vanila patch. The ACE suggestions and developpement work for Arma 3 MUST be directly incorporated into future arma 3 Vanila patch. another suggestion : add the Mil-MI28N helicopter (missing in the confirmed vehicles list)
onlyrazor 11 Posted December 21, 2011 I don't think this has been suggested yet, since it's pretty minor. It's the wrists. The way the wrists bend in current Arma games is the only thing I actually hate about the animations. Call me petty if you will, but I don't think they're supposed to bend like that. CyclonicTuna 87 Posted December 21, 2011 I think nightvision can be vastly improved. In Arma 2 it just seemed like you were wearing a pair of green sunglasses or something. Dynamic nightvision makes things that give off light of themselves (like fire, explosions, lights) glow, making it a lot harder to identify its actual silouhete. It also naturally has a bit of fuzz and isn't nearly as clear as seen in Arma 2. Next to that you should realize that real night vision doesn't make things brighter. It inhances the little light there is. That why it works outside underneath the stars and the moon and reflected light from the city. But if there's no light at all, there's also no night vision. max power 21 Posted December 23, 2011 CyclonicTuna Do not quote images. And the topic clearly states no discussion. +1 Warning. §14) Remove tags when quoting a post containing an image or embedded videoIf you quote a post that contains an image please remove the image tag or the whole image, it helps keep the thread tidy and easier to read if the same image isn't being posted repeatedly, you need only delete one [ to stop the image from hotlinking. If the post contains an embedded video such as YouTube you should remove the tags so the image of the video is not shown in your quote.
Clarkey1 10 Posted December 24, 2011 Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet. An ammo box search field would be useful. I know you can filter by Ammo, Launchers, Rifles etc but it would be great to be able to just type in "M4A1" so only M4A1's are shown in the menu. This would make grabbing your kit just that little bit easier.

dr_zakharotta 10 Posted December 25, 2011 Ok, a quick search about UAV gyroscope , gyro stabilization, came up with nothing. I will not discuss it over here or the other thread, but I just want to give you a heads up for I have Arma 2 + OA and I really was pissed that A2 had no gyro stabilization of SPI.
