Hey Guys,

with the current version, is there a way to toggle whether a Zeus speaks locally/over radio or via the ai he's controlling. The second is fun for RP, but in most cases when in Zeus remote controlling a unit I'd still want to use the radio or talk locally

thnx,

The behaviour in ACRE if you are in Zeus is as follows - direct chat and radios will continue to work from the location of the zeus entity until you remote control a unit in which case they switch to unit being remote controlled.

It seems you would be best creating a ticket on our tracker with some client RPT log files -> https://github.com/idi-systems/acre2/issues
This page may also be useful for looking into signal strength issues -  http://acre2.idi-systems.com/wiki/frameworks/radio-signal-debugging

TFAR is everywhere because of this it gets more attention.. #feelsbad for anyone that uses acre...

Are you serious? For most people the 64 bit client crashes, and it is not going to be widely used for playing, and here you are complaining that ACRE doesn't immediately jump at it?

Geez, some people...

There already is a SatCom antenna in the TFW Backpack mod (also known as ILBE assault pack), maybe you can make it compatible with that so you can use that with a UI, that would be very cool.

The mod im talking about: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=31708

Hi, is it possible to speak with people not in game when you are ? Actually can't hear people in my channel when joining a game

No, it's a feature, no way to turn that off. You can unload the whole plugin but then the people in game won't hear you.

What do mean the "Multi Push To Talk"? I got from the ACE3 self intaraction menu, What kind of function is this?

You can assign multiple PTT keys for ACRE, each one is responsible for a single radio but by default they're assigned in the order in which you got them in your inventory. The options in ACE Self Interaction menu are for assigning specific radios to PTTs you want. Eg. if you want 148 on your main PTT (CapsLock or whatever) but 117 on a secondary PTT you can do that in that menu.

Hi All,

Just wondered if the ACRE Antenna has and functionality behind it yet? or still purely just for show?

We have some problems
My friend he can not hear from the front and rear players exchange voice
He can only hear the player through the left and right sides to communicate

In addition, we have some people in the use of radio will cause fps low
Is there any solution?

There is a teamspeak setting for Always set clients 3D positions, try toggling that around.

Thank you very much for the solution I will ask him to test
But we have a problem
Is there any workaround for using radio to cause low fps?
Or after the version will be resolved?

Not something I've noticed to be honest, I think there is a little bit of a fps drop during broadcasting/receiving but I'm not a dev so you probably want an official response to that.

One in our group reported the same thing, massive FPS drop when someone is broadcasting over the radio. No clue what the issue is though.
