I tested it on the server that I have been playing on with a different unit and it shows up. The unit that the emblem doesn't work, doesn't work on official servers either. Tried it in the editor and it doesn't seem to show up still.

In the editor: Have you played the mission as a network game (MP)?
I have a 400 * 400 pixels logo in the "PNG" format (.png) and there is no problem with the logo in the MP game.

The Units page has a stale unit logo for mine. I have been trying desperately to update it with a proper transparent image, but the actual logo is stuck somewhere in the BI/Steam/units cache and will not shake loose. WTF is going on there, BI? How do we clear that up?

Same issues happening. I have 2 groups, one of which the logo shows ingame, the second of which is stubbornly not showing. My unit tag (the thing that shows after my name) works just fine, but the logo itself is refusing to work.

I am currently having issues where absolutely no Units are displayed on the official ArmA 3 website when I browses as well as when I try to view my own.(I can see the units i'm in on the website but not on the launcher, the error message says "Arma 3 units data acquisition failed) On top of this I am unable to edit the characteristics of my unit on the website.

just wondering if anyone can first of all see my unit or has an idea of whats going on

I wonder if it's suspended? doesn't say it anywhere though

I have tried creating a new unit, but the name "Gladio" is apparently taken, even though the only unit that shows up while searching this apparent unit is Task Force Gladio. Is it a deleted unit that's stuck in the database?

Perhaps you can allow units to have larger names. Words like Battalion, Reconnaissance, and more take up a significant amount of space in the characters section. I propose you make the character limit 40 or 45. Thanks

So, the problem with unit emblems on a Linux dedicated server has not solved yet.

The root of the problem is a case sensitive filenames for *.paa files, I presume.

That sounds plausible, and also relatively easy to fix.

I was making a Unit and i had an emblem exactly 400 by 300 and it didn't work then i resized it to 300 by 200 and it still said "Min. is 400 x 400"

The name of the unit is shown in the game, just not the picture. I don't play on Linux servers. I have already connected to the official server as suggested here.

I think it would be a good idea to change the specifications of the unit emblem requirements. It is really difficult to find an image to fulfill the requirements and seems near impossible to find something. You wouldn't mind fixing that, would you? Thanks!
