@haleks sorry to ask more questions but will base building eventually become a thing and will a trading system with money also become a thing

Roaming traders have been in Ravage for quite a while now, while money has been in from the start, kept me nice and warm in the early days.....

you can place down location logics spread around the map,such as "town" "city" named logics. The AI SHOULD then spawn.The map your using does not have what ravage needs to spwan the AI because of locations or lack there of if im not mistaken.

 

I would recommend placing multiple City and town game logics throughout the map,in the eden editor,depending on size i would space them out to a 1000 meter radius of each other.

Keep in mind,this method may spawn AI and give them waypoints,however the Ravage AI module setting for amount of groups,may not be accurate. IE you may get twice the amount of AI groups spawning.

Redarmy, hey that is a great idea, thanks!

 

I can drag and drop my way around the editor but never really looked into any of the more specific modules or game logic stuff.  I'll take a look and see how messy I can make it haha.  I set up several POIs and bases so if I can get the logic thing working I'll be set.

@Zakuaz : sorry for not responding earlier to your message, but yes, Redarmy is right : I tweaked the code a few updates ago so that those location gamelogics would be picked up by the AI population system. ;)

@haleks the 28 years later mission final works the iron front people had to make some updates to the mod and now I don't get any errors, I appreciate everyones help with this issue and thank y'all  for continuing to help me

HI Guys.

I need help Please. Im looking for ravage mod 0.1.36 downlink. The reason there for i still play arma 3 1.60. The new verson of RAVAGE mod dont work correctly on my arma. If someone can forward me a link or any advised where i my serach for the old version of Ravage mod.

You need to update Arma3 to the latest version.

 

Pirated versions are not supported.

Yup watched the video still cant get it to install or even show up in my steam mods list.... Why can you just make it easy like every other mod an use SteamWorkshop....???

I figured it out myself. And the link on th wiki that shows how to install if doesnt work and is not the way to do it....

I had an idea and I am sure it will be a no, but thought the idea would be amazing...

 

Since this is post apocalypse, when it turns night between a certain time, can you add some scripts to turn Cherno into the "Upside Down" from Stranger things. Here is clip of the realworld turning into the upside down:

 

 

 

Basically snowflake size ash particles (its grey and black) with overgrowth... It would make it extremely visceral walking around the woods on any map...

 

RAVAGE mod already creates good low ground fog but nothing like this. Just a suggestion.

Its been a long time since i have played this mod, but I have been in the mood to get back into it. In the process I realized I had to reinstall arma and all my mods, is there any weapon mods that are compatible with this? I can't remember because its been so long. I want to be able to find the weapons at the trader and on the roaming AI. I already went through the recommended mods list and tool all the ones I wanted, but I would like to add more variation to the weapon tables, any idea what ones I could add?

ha i totally got Ravage and ryans zombies and demons to work together. i feel smrt.... :D

 

 

EDIT: although some times, looting a AI corpse some times bugs out and i cant loot the stuff, but other then that, it actually works pretty well together! dont place the ambient zombies module from rvg, instead use all zombies and demon modules and place your spawners where you like, and how ever you set it up as u want. demn brittle and spider zombies are some fucking creepy, specially with the snappin bone sounds. hibbity jibbitys i tell ya!

@rolandrhaine I don't know but I like using them with my missions along with tryk outfit pack and I think it's compatible with Ravage

I place all of the Ravage modules, except the blacklists and the ambient zombies, then i use the zombie abilities module, difficulty, movement speed, health and zombie options and such then place the zombie SPAWNER where i want the zombies to show up IE in a town or along side a road, then i tweak the module itself under the attributes of the module and BOOM, away i go. I do not edit any files, i only place modules from both mods. Dont use the ravage ambient zombie module, other wise the zombies from ryans zombies and demons attack the ravage zombies and if you used the resurrection module they come back in whtever form of zombie you set it up as.

 

I personally enjoy filling a town full of civilians and have the resurection module placed, then have a zombie attack happen then all the civilians turn to zombies after wards. also love the horde sounds and snapping bones of zombies and demons mod.
