@ministeriet, @DoNNeRBeRG: I actually posted a working version of co10 Escape Livonia in the Discord approx. two weeks ago. Neo said that they already had a version in the making and would probably not need my version but until the official version is out, please feel free to use it. Took actually quite some time to place the command centers and village markers. Hope was worth it!

@NeoArmageddon are you able to add a “disable map shift click” option to the game settings?

 

sometimes we just do a quick escape where we use the map shift click marker other times we want to do a bit more of a difficult escape where we make a gentleman’s agreement not to use the shift click map marker, it would be awesome if we could disable it in the mission settings before we start.

I had a question about editing Escape.

 

I see there are groups defined for Blu, Red and Greenfor.

 

So can I simply create replacement groups to replace each side or is there a better way in the editor? I am thinking about a Half Life escape mission for example? Black Mesa team escapes from the Combine invaded maps.

 

If someone can point to a tutorial, that would be great.

I uploaded a new development snapshot at the Github repository. It can be directly accessed here:

The new naming convention of these dev snapshots is "DEV YEAR+MONTH+DAY".

I consider this snapshot a release candidate for 1.10 but further testing is needed. Especially prison creation and general mission loading/starting.

Livonia (onyl terrain, no contact assets yet) is also included.

Slots on the mission are missing. Have tried RHS and BIS versions, none load up with slots.

Works fine on my server (and for other people I talked to). Make sure you not start with -init startline and with persistence in your server config disabled.

 

Do you have more information for me? Which terrain? Did you used the addonn or the mission pbo version? Is there any error in your RPT?

Chernarus Summer and Chernarus Autumn, using the mission .pbos. The error I get is this:

Seems the RHS versions are dependent on CUP? Also the RU versions are dependent on SAF. Would be nice to have versions that are just dependent on RHSAFRF and RHSUSAF. 

EDIT:
I think it might be a small oversight in the missions' mission.sqm files, they list cup_creatures_military_russia as a required addon, though it isn't being called on in the unitclasses.sqf.

That might be the case. These values can slip into the mission.sqm when exporting from editor. I will clean them up later. Thanks for the find.

I hope you don't mind, but I did remove it myself from the mission.sqm and the mission worked afterwards. 

I know how it is, sometimes JSRS or ZEI will sneak into mission.sqm as a required addon. It happens. Mission was great, we had a lot of fun trying it with ACE.

Hi everyone. 

Is it permitted and or possible to change the alarm sound to something of my own choosing?  If so where would i find the file to change? Also might be the version i have but it seems like the suicide bomber doesn't have a sound as i get 'shout.ogg not found'

Probably wrong mission or thread. There are no suicide bomber in the official co10 Escape.

Latest dev with a highly experimental change to prison creation (the darkest of dark magic). I would highly appreciate some testing of this. Especially if in a multiplayer session any players observe jagged prisons after loading screen or jumping of objects after a afew seconds.

Can you make such a change to this game that AI will not spawn more than 80, because the computer will not take as much as 600 artificial intelligence (AI) could you fix this problem

That is not a problem. Use this mission on a dedicated server. This is not a single player mission and not inteded for client hosting.

Also limiting the AI to 80 would make this really lame and easy.

 

And nevertheless the AI amount is normally around 120 to 180. Not 600.

thanks for the answer, but how could it stay there max 120 characters or under. because I have three servers running anyway and I would not like to close them.

 

600 was a bit exaggerated
