And this model does not even show the real T-14 MBT based on heavy tracked platform "Armata". Model is based on some other 3d models created by fanboys that misunderstood what they seen and created these silly models on a proposal for assault tank/assault gun with turret module armed with 120mm gun-mortar designed by a different design bureu that is designing artillery systems not tanks. T-14 is designed by UKBTM design bureau that belongs to UVZ corporation, and as far as oficial sources says, T-14 will be more similiar in external appearance to Object 195, it's predecessor.

Well that maybe the case, but Gamermanas is free to make he own interpretation of the a tank that doesn't exist yet. After all Addon making is a hobby should be encouraged.

These are AA weapons :)

The work is now done to be ported in game.

@R0adki11 well bro if you search the internet you can find more stuff and photos about T-14. I wanted it to have a more futuristic approach so it would fit both 2015 gameplay and 2035 more to come.

The first reveal of the T-14 is just a few weeks away (May 9), so we'll see what it truly looks like then. But you are free to create whatever you like. I agree with you that the design you chose for the mod fits in well with the near future setting of A3.

yes, our modeller had to redo the whole model to make it more HQ. we are also in a fit because we have noone to texture it. once we have a texturer we can continue with the rest

Only problem I see is that mixing an AA tank with an MBT would be catastrophic for the crew, if you take a hit to the ammo stocks, your beyond f***ed. But, it's ArmA, and it's a mod. So it's ok. Lol

The design looks pretty simple though, for the original MBT that is.

Mmmh, I don't know if you have see, but this turret look unfinished. I think they have release the Armata just for the Victory Day, the turret look very weak on the flank, very small, but it's just my opinion, but I think the turret will be probably change.

From what my friends are telling me, it's an unmanned turret AFAIK, so it's small for that reason

I personally hate the turret; I like the T-90AM way more in terms of looks, but w/e

IMHO the first impression for armata system (t 14 kuganets etc) in victory parade seems a fake for the media, some details don't convince me

Yeah, no idea why the front looks like that... Also, idk. It seems odd they're new tank suddenly, isn't that of the a T-90M Successor, in fact, i'm certain the M series T-90 is fairly new/in development if i'm not mistaken (which i probably am, i know nothing about Russia's current military, aside from Fixed Wing Aircraft..)

why would you be more fucked with AA then with regular tank ammo? doesnt make sense. Just like Tank ammo, AA ammo can also be stored in specialised compartments...

A lot more powder, and probably alot more rounds. Special compartments are ok, until there is some serious opposing Armored Piercing rounds in play. Well, not sure if modern ADPS rounds can actually pen modern tanks with modern armor. It's never been done before.
