If you can reproduce please test without JSRS loaded and see what happens.

Tested in editor without mods. It's just A3. Sorry to cause the ruckass.

Thanks for the awesome mod!

I just wanted to let you know that I have an issue with the mod after the latest 1.40 patch, it seems that Launcher and Pistol sounds are not being replaced anymore, instead I hear default sounds for firing a pistol ( at least silenced ) and launching rockets from RPG,TITAN,PCML

i think these rpt entries came about after the 1.4 patch. this is from our server, which has erros due to speed of sound, jsrs 2 and dragonfyre lite. (server is not running any of them)

Those errors are probably being caused by people with JSRS 2 and/or Speed of Sound Pure enabled when they join your server. Because the server doesn't have those mods enabled, it "can't" find the files for them that are referenced and unable to be loaded, which leads to these RPT spammed errors.

Yeah thats the point isnt it? All 3 of those mods are strictly clientside, therefore there should not be any errors serverside even if the server is not running them...

Can anyone clarify if this LITE version is broken by the 1.4 ARMA3 update?

The scripted version is broken and i'm trying to find an alternative... cause vanilla sounds like sh*t.

All soundmods are broken till a fitting update. I will look into it soon I hope and update the LITE version. I cannot work on the Scripted version lately.

I fixed the pistols. The problem (not really a problem, more a change by BIS) was that they added firing mode classes to the weapon class. So I fixed that today. Will also look into the soniccrack problems you mentioned. Config wise it seems to be the same as before but I can't be sure by now.

I switched over to LITE after the 1.40 patch broke the sound scripting.

Overall is seems to work well, without real obvious problems. The sonic cracks are the only thing everyone notices are missing at the moment.

Oh, and the minigun sounds on the helicopters are either really low, or not playing. Not sure which.

Oddest thing happens on our BECTI server when we activate the JSRS LITE BIKEY, it prevents everyone from logging into the server. The server seems to be OK, but no one can log in. AS soon as I remove the BIKEY and restart the server, problem is fixed. Has anyone else seen this?

RC release came out today. Hopefully that update gives you a good sense of what final changes they made.

Is there compatibility patch for RHS : Escalation for LITE, or it works with comp. patch from full version?

I wasn't aware of an issue between the mods. There are no scripts that could interfere. Also this mod only covers ArmA3 vanilla content, not any mods content.

Pretty sad :( RHS team said they are not gonna make other mods compatible with others, its up to their developers to make compatible patches. Actualy Your mod is best audio mod, RHS is best content mod including real units, and only competition for them may be veteran mod. So 2 best mods and nobody care about compatibility escept users..... I wish i could do more about configs.

In essence there's quite a lot of mods out there and I'm pretty much the same mind as RHS. As a modder myself I focus on my mods working with the game, Arma 3, so a lot of issues that came up (such as the issue with massi's helos) is something that for the most part needs to be addressed (severely affecting gameplay) but it's the modder's responsibility to ensure it works good. But we can't account for every mod either or always know what our mods may do to others so it's a crapshoot and frankly we all have to deal with it in some way.

I'm probably deafer than a ... hmm, bat? ... but what's not working with LiTE and RHS?

I've been running that combination since DF:LiTE was released and never noticed any issues in particular.

Granted, the RHS-vehicles and weapons will use their own sounds but that is how it supposed to be since not many RHS-vehicles/weapons inherit any sounds from vanilla.

Good, i just wanted to know this. I saw compatibility patch for scripted version, and was aware of some bugs with lite. I was playing with full version and there was problems with distance sounds, and then patch came out. Now i'm fully enjoying the LITE.... :)
