BI didnt bother to look into it yet it seems though. Needs more public pressure it seems.

Which, with all due respect towards BIS, I find a capital annoyance. If they could at least look into and maybe explain what happens, people could find workarounds for the issue. The same with the ponds. I can only stress again how important custom user content should be for Arma, and how these issues seem to be completely ignored by BIS. I sometimes have a hard time understanding this.

So, on the apartments, they are 100 percent enterable every floor both sides for ALL of them, the 2 the 4 and the 8 story are fully opened, and grenades work fine off the BACK porches... the front porches on the 2 floor do not currently work, I will fix that eventually. The windows allow bullets to pass through but DO NOT allow grenades to pass through. I also MIGHT fix that.

Thanks for clarifying Cifor, looking forward to see the invisible wall gone when done!

its "assigned".. not like that means anything anymore though. :/

I wish we could somehow fix that whole like, infinte land (outsid of border generation) crashes the engine, it would probably fix 60% of maps that CTD in a3.... I would assume that BI has to fix that, the only way it can be changed is overwriting configs but that means it has to be a depdency etc and you guys cant really do that.. :(

Infinite terrain is disable in AiA - also for community made terrains.

But still it should get fixed finally.

Download the Full or Lite version and overwrite the existing data.

It depends mostly of your country and Internet connection. Also, I believe resume is not possible, so if anything goes wrong for a couple minutes, it's starting again for you. It's better than the rest though. But yeah, a torrent would be ideal.

Edit: It's coming incredibly fast on my end :yay:.

It wouldn't be a problem if it was possible, as seba1976 mentionned, to resume a failed download.

On a personnal note I usually use mediafire to host files - some people say it's not super fast, but I find it to be reliable (and free).

BTW I personally like the mid range textures, but they look better or worst depending on light conditions, so yeah, it's gonna have to be a compromise. It's for the designer to decide.

Ack that. It'd great if this grass could be added to other islands that suit it (Utes, for example).

Although I ack that changing user-made islands might be a touchy subject, it's nothing a little permission wouldn't fix. Imagine Moschyni, Podagorsk, Celle 2, Zernovo et al with the new grass. Och!

Try a different browser please.

mediafire is 10 GB max - AiA SA, AiA lite, AiA TP, AiA ATP lite and AiA TDP are ~ 35 GB.

I already provide mega, torrent, PWS and integrate the mirrors by ramius86 and Rockhount.

Anyone else is free to provide more mirrors - but no one is (so far?).

Technically easily doable. However it might go against the artistic design of the author.

So unlikely to be provided as default by AiA.

Updated the hotfix changelog:

The mid range textures revert is actually not part of it. Will be done in the next patch.

However likely an improved version will return at some point.

The hotfix is now available on Play withSix.

Also update the links on mega as AiA TP was not meant to include AiA_Characters.pbo.

Please remove AiA_Characters.pbo if you have already downloaded it.

What does the hotfix do?

Are you talking about the one that makes the buildings not float and other fixes? Or has there been another one?

Submitted some more data to the AiA TP project, namely: Lighthouses, stoplights, building strobe lights and improved A2 lamps.

The next version will be a lot brighter I guess. :rolleyes:
