I remember on a bug if I switch the light on (Laser & Surfire lamp combo black) on a ACR then the LS-combo would deleted.

Long time not tested. Maybe fixed. Only using the Surefire Lamp worked.

Not sure if it is, but another issue I've noticed with the ACRs is that the reloading animations differ between those that have a Grenade Launcher and those that don't. The former uses that from the SPAR-16 while the latter keeps the classic MX animation. If this was intentional or it has already been mentioned, then disregard my post. 

 

However if you plan to fix it, I hope you choose the SPAR-16 reloading version, as it's cooler (in my opinion) ;)

Actually ACR's bolt-release is next to the trigger. The MX reaload is more realistic then Spar-16 (old school M4 reloading).

Love this mod, my entire team exclusively use these weapons and they are awesome! Also, any chance we might see the Polish MSBS at some point? No worries if not, the other weapons we already get from this addon are still fantastic.

Ever heard of a thing called real life?? People do this as a hobby, the author probably has some stuff going on, hence he has not been around much, maybe he is working really hard on a next update, who knows..

Of course got to consider real life circumstances like work or school and all the other little things. Sometimes there are more appealing ways to spend that freetime you manage. Modding also takes time, and a damn lot of it too. Suppose the author is working on a new firearm right now, he might have already fixed and updated everything on his computer but plans to release when hes done with the new content in one big update.

Mods take time to update when you have work, family, etc. I'm just happy to have the weapons we do from this.

Is there an old version of this mod with this mk18 skin in it? Or I'm not sure how hidden selections work but is it possible to mess with those to get this skin?

That's still ingame to my knowledge, I've used it several times, just right from the Arsenal.

So I tried the old version from the sma website, reinstalled the steam version and still no dice, is anyone able to send me the necessary file to me or tell me what file I need to edit in order to get it working?

 

Edit: @jarrad96 So I tried those class names, and what I get is your version but instead of the Tan parts they are black.

That version is definitely in the normal SMA release pack. Is your version of Arma 3 up to date? Did you try running with no other mods to ensure it is not a conflict?

I am afraid that @The Body: is right, there is no such Mk 18 Mod 1 carbine in excactly that coloristic textures anywhere in the modpack.

I actually did run it solo and still no luck, but luckily jarrad96 was able to send me his mk18 pbos, unfortunately when I run them as a separate mod it still overwrites the current mk18pbos, so I lose a lot of the new current textures like the OD ones. What I learned from this is that the color/texture I'm looking for is from either 2.3 or 2.4 of this mod. So people who still have the textures either don't have their SMA completely updated or you only keep it if you had the mod installed since old versions. What ever it is it's weird cause half the people I've talked from ingame or friends have it and the other half doesn't.

What version of the addon are your friends running? The latest is 2.7.1 I believe, it's in game for me, but doesn't have the tan pmag.

We all are running 2.7.1 from steam. I didn't have any of the versions of this gun(tan stock with brown rail) SM mag or pmag. But your the 3rd or 4th person I've ran into who claims to have at least some of these textures and be running 2.7.1.
