Yeah dont run it on server or headless clients due to massive RPT spam and crippling frames. (Confirmed for headless)

If it works without JSRS, it's an JSRS issue.

Is this mod still something that people would recommend using over the vanilla experience.  No updates on here for a while, i'm just wondering how "in touch" with the new game updates this is.

I'm looking at using your dynasound and wondering if this is worth running along side it.

Run it along side his sonic cracks standalone mod. Pretty good :)

Here is a pretty awesome showcase video for both Dynasound and Enhanced Soundscape on the map of Podagorsk during a decent fire fight.

I think it really shows off just how great these sound mods are

Good news!

I've been working on increasing the performance of the mod and had a significant breakthrough, more infos will come soon(ish).

If everything goes well, we'll get new features such as different distance layers of urban shooting etc and the mod is now capable of separating between flat and hilly terrain, not quite

sure what to make out of it yet.

Btw, happy new year :D

Aight, got some exciting news.

I rewrote everything from scratch with my current knowledge and understanding and all features except for the 3d tail work already.

Even better, there will be a semi-new feature that plays reverb from mountains. In real time, with an 360° calculation. Shooting from position a can create a completely

different effect than shooting from position b.

"LAxe, that will eat performance like crazy, stop it"

Well, nope. I even got some first concept sounds for you, note the fps counter later in the vid. Please also note that youtube vids in the background as well as Fraps both slow the framerate down.

More to come :)

Another showcase, thanks to Blaubaer I managed to get an even faster and more accurate detection of the terrain.

Sounds are placeholders, especially the "near popp"!

Does this mod compatible with 1.56? I mean is it needed or BI added that feature in 1.56?
