Even if there was a diaspora, there's still male civilians yet no females and it's weird that in development there were women, but in the full release there are none. Maybe BI will take note, although it seems like they're still busy with other problems. Do you plan to make a female FIA soldier, though? zeealex 2029 Posted May 2, 2014 okay just a quick report: the basic variation of the nato gear is in, working moderately well, weighting needs tweaking (as per norm) mostly to the right arm, you can probably see it, and there will be some model updates in the future, this one will probably be rehashed as the AAF gear. even though i prefer this look, obviously once the combat shirt has been textured properly it'll look better. the model was modified to make it look like she was wearing a compression bra, in 2030-whatever it's a uniform requirement, so while she does have breasts, they aren't big, sorry guys! :P the boots are using a rough self made texture, I can't live with only one Magnum Elite Spider variation in the game (big Magnum fan) there will be a lot of camo variations available, from CSAT hex camo (I hope) to USMC MARPAT. report is subject to change, and yes i know my graphics skills suck, i'm out of practice and it's nearly 3am XD Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The proportion is great, you really nailed the hourglass without making it too blatant and it so nice to see that you didn't conform the vests to her chest. Is it my imagination or did you also shrink the widith of the arms just a bit as well? The rigging is great and so far everything looks good, rough boot texture included, glad to see you're taking the extra steps to bring more life to the character. If I had one thing to ask about it would be if perhaps the pink/red on her lips could be toned down some, right now it looks as though she is wearing lipstick. You should've seen my grandfather then. :) He may be old, but doesn't look the part. The only reason he isn't cycling around the city anymore is that traffic increased and nobody on the road respects cyclists around here, so it's a rather risky endeavor. But then, he used to be a basketball player, later a referee (in addition to being a renowned chemistry professor :)). Keep it up :) Have you look at the voice configs? haha! she did, thankfully only Oakes does that, and it looks fairly okay now that the eyes are rigged, Mason suffers no issue, in terms of texture though, she's got crazy eyes because i boosted the specularity of the texture a little too much. haven't looked at voice configs yet, i'll see what i can do now, if i can get some basic level voices in there, happy days. i'll record it if i can get it working. Looking really good - really appreciate your efforts on this and good luck with the A levels danke freund! :D thankfully my graphics A-level will be over on Thursday, so I'll be less strapped for time. Not even necessarily limited to CSAT though, if you consider for example, Islam is the 3rd largest religion in the U.S., or the population of 44 million Muslims in Europe. I think the easiest way to get voices is to just remaster the male voices, make the pitch higher and tweak it a bit, then remap a new config to this model to use the new voices. Arma 2 OA does have a female voice, it worked on the bb female soldiers mod on my setup, and the tanya female mod had it, and I added it myself to a mod that had female soldiers and no voices (ADO company I think). Speaker is Female01EN_EP1, injury and out of breath sounds must be set up separately , but they are there. I think arma 3 has more sounds for breathing and injury though, so either some more sounds would have to be sourced, or some would have to be used multiple times.... There is definitely a full female voice set for A2/OA: words, breathing, pain sounds. Schnappsdrosel's female soldiers use it. I hope to see women in Arma 3 soon, as well as in my mod. :D thank you! by all means when it's done feel free! :D okay just to settle the score on voices. it seems the radio dubbing .pbo files for both arma 2 and arma 3 are similar, but at the same time very different, but I think it is possible, i think the filenames will probably need changing to coincide with Arma 3's handling of the voice files, but a lot of the clauses that are there are relatively similar to the arma 3 ones, but she'll sound like a robot, just bear that in mind. XD for now though, I need to update the torso model of the NATO soldier, I managed to make a HUGE mistake in Oxygen 2 by accident, I squarized the model and now it's giving a lot of issues with weighting. I'm also going to break off the glove texture into it's own independent file for easier imports, and the highest possible resolution (I'm assuming that you guys like to play in first person) low resolution textures will look really kind of crappy so that's being revamped today as well I'm also going to tessellate the model once more for some more precision weights.
