Iron Front as mod in Arma 3

Will this work with all in arma standalone ?

I had it working with all arm2/OA/ironfront installed but now that i've uninstalled arma 2 to download all in arma standalone i'm not sure .

( Still got Iron Front installed )

I noticed a problem for A3 port, the ai don't you the static maxim, and mg 42 properly.

The ai just looks around with the weapon and maybe fire 1 or 2 shots

So i tried with arma 3 + iron front + all in arma standalone and it's not working .

Don't know if i did something wrong or it's meant to be like that ( hope i did something wrong ) .

You need to provide more details (what is the problem, how do you launch it, etc) - at least the arma3.rpt is needed. Ty

It's supposed to work then ? ( I mean with aia standalone instead of A2+OA )

I'll try a fresh re install of the mod .

Edit : Can't launch and got "OA/IronFront not found" message on playwithsix when lauching modeset with @Aia Standalone ; @IF and @IFA3

@Kju, hello again, it seems i have got the mod working, but i got this one problem,

I have patched the DLC's to the latest's version, but when ever i go to editor and spawned them, they are NATO soldiers with WWII US DLC Weapons.

I am pretty sure that the American WWII soldiers are not finished yet\converted to ARMA3. .kju will answer for sure but I thought it was a WIP.

Hi folks, 1st Thanks to all porting Iron Front into Arma 3.

Now to my issue. I'm having a problem with loading Campaigns and Scenarios in A3 for Iron Front. Whenever i try it simply crashes, however i can play both the campaigns and single missions without issue in the Arma 2 mod version and can also access all the maps/units in the editor without issue (just get modern US infantry holding WW2 era weapons but i understand this is due to them being unfinished).

Is the campaigns and scenarios not working a known issue?

Help is much appreciated.

I don't have any crash report since it won't launch the game , checked but no new .rpt when i try to launch it .

Just "OA/Iron Front not found' on play with six .

Rpt is not a crash report - it is a log file.

Play withSIX says that it cant find it. Either you don't have it installed (Iron Front / Iron Front in Arma), or you corrupted the install, or the registry entries.

So back to above:

You need to provide more details (what is the problem, how do you launch it, etc) - at least the arma3.rpt is needed

Hey I constanlty get errors. Which is not a problem if erveything would work.

I cant use the Zeus modul, because of a missions_ew

inside the RPT File:

I should have the latest version. Iam using "play with six". AiA version: "0.0.21"

BTW: I know that you have to start the Zeus-DLC with "play with six" too, named: Curator

Play withSIX does NOT yet have the latest IFA3 version. You need to download and apply 1.09, 1.10 and 1.11 yourself for now.

Also for best compatibility you need to use the latest AiA SA version (also not yet available in PWS).

Finally if you want to stick to the old AiA version, you need at least A2:CO (A2 is missing for you) - BI broke loading of some OA data.

Not sure but I think playwithsix is not working correctly with the conversion. I had to do a clean install due to the editor page was duplicated, the text was broken outside of the text box, the load in screen was weird with parts of liberation pictures in the wrong areas. I attempted to re-install it again with playwithsix but not able to get it working, for some reason it bypass the conversion and loaded straight into the game without IF mods. The only way I got it working was with the conversion tool.

Any good missions sites about the place to download? another thing I notice with tanks the sounds effects are really bad, any one could recommend a sound mod to correct this or still early days?

After you install mod by PlayWithSix do an update (last version 1.11), so you could see that lots of bugs disappeared. For example list of last major update improvements (1.10):

I'm having troubles getting this to work, I have installed with SIX and manually patched but get errors like this one every time I try to launch a game, campaign, scenarios or multiplayer.

Sorry for the belated response.

We need more details. Like Arma3.rpt, the par file and the logs from PWS.

Also what patch version have you been and did you update IFA3 to latest?

You seem to miss the latest patch (1.11) at least. Upload the rpt log file please.
