More progress, had to rebuild this from an A2 so essentially when done the weapon will have A2 sights but given the time period...

I was thinking about it but it led to me making the HK615 instead. Granted the 6.5 is crap overall it was meant to fit the ArmaVerse more than reality, I guess my "sci-fi" gun (as a military science fiction writer I find it annoying how ignorant minds work) contribution to the mix. I could always do a modified 417 rather than the NATO but I'll see.

Basically the FC-37 (not a bad mod at all) inspired me to do this one as I have the AETC symbols from a Strike FIghters 2 project that I can slap on this bird for the hell of it.

Finally fixed the gun and more or less it's "done" other than the inventory images and some bug that I have to quash regarding the sights but overall within a couple days I'll be able to upload.

Thanks for the recomendations in the doc!

Now one small correction, regular miles are aprox 1600m, however 1nm = 1850 m, small difference but given it's amplified it may result in big errors.

In all honesty I never knew the difference (which is why I stated 1 mile = 1600m), but thanks for the heads up and I'll add that to the next version. And doing a calculator check 6 km (from my example) its 3.24 nautical miles but with miles it's only 3.75 so not too bad of a difference. Down the road pilots will grouse but still you do the talk on portion during the transition but anyway fixed and thanks again...

I've been mulling over an answer to the question of putting my mod on Steam Workshop. If it was a single PBO mod then I would have already put it on there, but in order for you to upload the mod it has to be a single PBO. Given that I'm catering to a small minority of players to get out there. So as it stands logistically it's a flat out no given I'm having small issues with this or that. Imagine (well you can't because you're not doing the work) that x 3 for each weapon, and as you all may be aware, its not just one or two, it's right now at fifty weapons so no... with that much maintenance (oh yeah let's not forget about the other accessories as well...). So in the short term it will be negative, no, nyet, nee, etc. but when RH finally updates his pack with Spartan0536's ammo values the RH config will go away as if they're not updated then it's just redundant values and no since in worrying about a config when I don't have to. I always appreciate the support and when I feel I'm logistically able to, I will. But again there are no current plans of putting my mod on the Steam Workshop.

Maybe it's a question many have done yet, but do you play on a server ? It would be just great to meet you in-game, as you are one of my favourite modder XD

As of late I don't go on servers, I got too many projects going on and so I don't get on as much anymore. I'm re-connecting to some old forums and communities so I have to readjust my life again to suit them. But I do have my own server, address is here:

what would You say to an idea of adding AA-12 shotgun to the pack. I really miss this gun in cqb and arma 2 port on armaholic is not compatibile with asdg jr and new sound config.

I may do it... I guess since I need to retexture the adjustment knob on the M16 to say it's good to go. I've only spread things out since realistically there's not much going on and re-entering other communities I've been in before (long story, almost literally) so I'm in a period of readjustment as far as pacing and whatnot. The guy has been waiting a bit and don't want to look like I'm trolling him so I'll say that RC47 could have it (the AA-12) more than the next update, as after I get this adjustment knob done with the M16 I'll be fairly done with that, along with an inventory pic to seal the deal. Taumargin is going to send me some more shotgun sound files and I'll put that in for RC46, as I can change gears easier with RC47 as far as implementing another weapon. Fair?

I meant adding some more from the "family", as the variant with XM320 grenade launcher, DMR and CQB variants as well as the possibility to use a C-mag (100 rounds) as magazine. XM8 was supposed to be that versatile^^

I've thought on that but nobody seems to be really requesting the family so I kinda dropped the idea (I like the XM8 but don't mess with it that much, I prefer the IAR myself) but yeah I can maybe throw in some more. Again let me get things finished:

Managed to get the forward assist (I've checked some sources who'd been to Vietnam so the Army had forward assists but since this was a SEAL version a photo confirms the type of forward assist used, or the initial style before the current round version) reshaped. Given the sources I'm keeping it (photo was probably early 80s so if it lasted that long then yeah I'm keeping it).

Well Fate has intervened and my power cord for my laptop has died, so I was waiting on taumargin anyway so Thursday RC46 (and my new power cords) will be out and I'll have some power again. It's been almost two years I've had it so it had to go sometime. So in essence it hasn't really dampened things, so I'll spend today (Wenesday) just reading books or whatever, and maybe the power cord gods will get my cord working again, but I'm not going to hold my breath either. Besides I need a break anyway right? So yeah when I get a new power cord I'll hopefully get RC46 out, and then for RC47 the AA-12 and maybe another XM8 family member.

Eric, could you create a Silencer for the Vanilla Sniper Rifle "M320/Cheytac M200" that would be so awesome (as always: it´s just a question if you could do that, so no request)

There is only 1 mod which covers the Silencer for the Cheytac (Breaking Point Zombie Mod) but it´s close to impossible to add only the Weapons from Breaking Point into the modlist without any issues.

Would be epic if you could do that, simply awesome :)

RC47 would be a good "time" to expect it but I'll look into it as well. Okay got my laptop cord (which works and is recharging as I type) so later on when I get the inventory pic done for the CAR-15, I'll upload RC46. Taumargin had just PM'd me and said it'll be a week or so until he gets the sounds massaged and ready for release, so I'll just get 46 out tonight and add more stuff for RC47. Apologize for the delay but after nearly two years the cord had to go out sometime but that's just life.

RC46

- Added CAR-15 (Vietnam Era weapon), weapon has Ball, Red, Green, and Yellow Tracers. Ballistic values are currently BIS but when more research is done I'll adjust the values.

- Added HK416/Masterkey. It should be noted that using various optics when using the Masterkey Optic view is set for the HK416 sigths, so the difference (compared to the SCAR version) will be readily visible. The weapons still shoots true however)

- Fixed magazine entry so no longer produces a warning
