baermitumlaut 62 Posted March 7, 2017 We (some ACE and ACRE devs) just found the issue for the FPS drops when opening the inventory or the map with ACE and/or ACRE. Because there is no way to create scripted namespaces, both ACE and ACRE use a custom location type, which gets created at [-10000,-10000]. Now both location types use an undefined draw style ("bananas in ACE, "acre" in ACRE) which is thankfully now being logged to the RPT as an issue. It seems like if there is any type of map control in the UI, that control tries every frame to draw those locations with said invalid draw style, apparently even when the control is invisble and even though the location would be far out of the rendered area, which then causes immense frame drops. Our solution was to just use the CBA_fnc_createNamespace function which does the same, but its location type uses a valid draw style. So yeah, proper scriped namespaces would be cool too (pretty please?).
M40 3 Posted March 7, 2017 On 3/6/2017 at 6:44 PM, dwarden said: @M40 your crash is Version: 1.66.139586 , not PROFILING branch performance (nor profiling) binary, just normal MAIN branch stable ... please update to profiling branch first Was the same if it was V18-V19 or main one. But now it works normal. Nothing has changed on my part. So just forget about it i guess?

baermitumlaut 62 Posted March 10, 2017 Repro PBO for the FPS drop issue Works perfectly fine in v18, but causes massive framedrops on the map in v19 (or any newer).

[LTC] Vegas =21st= 17 Posted March 14, 2017 New crash logs and dumps from v21 1.66.140795. Was unfortunately only able to gather logs from two users this time, however these exact issues crashed 8+ clients simultaneously over and over again throughout the session. Something is happening that forces multiple users to all crash at the exact same time. This issue has been happening for a long while, and is not specific to v21. Timothy Franz 2 Posted March 18, 2017 Evening ladies and gents. Are there any Linux server admins here that might be able to do a bit of mind melding with me? Having an issue after the lovely 1.68 update. If I run my servers with "verifySignatures=2" it will not show the server as running any mods but if I remove that from the config everything is fine and dandy. I've already verified that the proper .bikeys are in place.

Zzyxzz 0 Posted March 19, 2017 I'm again suffering from the zoom bug... :-( Zooming with scope does not always work. I used performance v20 for 1.66 and the bug was gone. After Updating to 1.68, the bug reappeared.

gogsworld 15 Posted March 21, 2017 Look at the original ones... Basically, rename the originals to append 'backup' at the end or, just delete them as verify will bring them back, and copy the original name to the new perf exe.

I did that (arma3_x64 & arma3server_x64) but I also removed the arma3 & arma3server exe''s which I assumed were the 32bit versions . Should I have left them alone? Dwarden 1125 Posted March 21, 2017 you replace what you need e.g. arma3client_performance_168_140976_v02.exe into arma3.exe arma3client_x64_performance_168_140976_v02.exe into arma3_x64.exe and arma3server_performance_168_140976_v02.exe into arma3server.exe arma3server_x64_performance_168_140976_v02.exe into arma3server_x64.exe simple as that
