olds 15 Posted December 15, 2013 Signing the mod with keys? What is the point of that? Isn't this a port of what Bohemia has released publicly? All signing the mod does is make it harder for people to improve on the work, no? griffz 1 Posted December 15, 2013 signing has NOTHING to do with closed source/ open source ... not even close ... at least , generaly speaking. a sign is a warranty of integrity. it's too easy to add hack scripts in a pbo. with a sign on your server / client pair, you can ensure the 2 version of the file are the exact same . i miss chernarus forest ...
