And that's what I love about you guys, you evolved thorough years, and now striving for

something even better.I noticed on brazilian project a gun that was shown in browser

with rotation and zooming! http://p3d.in/kAFXA

Would you like to see your model in there?

Just tried it with a BDU i made: http://p3d.in/Kjn0f

What an awesome tool this is something i will use for people to look at the meshes i make :)

Thanks enex

Atast, your link to the BDU is 404ing... Also if you guys are going to start uploading models for us to look at.......... my god.

As always keep up the good work, looks incredible and I cant wait to lose my social life over it.

EDIT: Ah sorry just saw your post about people potentially stealing the models and textures in your WIP thread. That blows.... for anyone else here are the screens atast posted in his WIP thread:

As easter present i got some "personal" news to announce.

I finally fought my brain to start creating Content inside 3ds Max, which i before use soley for the purpose of rendering our Normal maps and preparing Models for sculpting.

Since "practice what your preach" would have been something to bite me later on when my teammembers inspect the 3d Model i started off with the Highpoly variant. For a first try i picked a RIS Rail-System from Geiselle Automatics.

A little sidenote: i started work on it, including research and measurements, at arround 2 PM local time and took the screenshot below at around 9:30 PM. So i know i will need to get a little faster, but that will hopefully come over time. Now my eys burn like a mother - but i still wanted to give everyone a heads up.

The most beautiful part of art is the process I think, so that's a lovely insight right there.

Nice work on that Geissele smr4, I know you guys aren't currently working on CAG/ACE but if you wanted to "practice" a geissele 10.5 HK rail..... ;)

well only difference between the 10.5 and the 13 inch rail shown in the picture is minor details, such as the HK416 rail having a different connector on the bottom. As well as the 10.5 inch rail having less "openings" in the rail.

Based on size the AR-15/M5 and HK416 Platforms are identical.

It's just a high poly to bake a normal map from. That isn't the model that will be used in game.

its only one side, which will be mirrored and welded later on, i honestly have not looked at the polys, but it should be "a lot" ^^

Here is another shot of half the rail in its current state.

http://gyazo.com/650073b2d83a7b9af8d11e66e7b9e0d3

Saying 148.972 Polys with Smooth - 53.223 without.

Please note: that is still missing the lower cut outs as well as the whole second half of the handguard, so way more polys to come.

So i finished up on the cutouts and mirrored the rail to see the almost final result.

http://gyazo.com/21ec35b0f35e2cac5631194a2aac9dbc

It is still missing some railspace as well as a few holes, getting thoose done tomorrow and then ill get some painkillers to prepare for the low-poly version.

I did go old school, took 3 good reference images and calculated the multiplicator to get from the image size to the actual, real life size, based on the measurements featured on the Geiselle Website.

Hey guys!! Just wondering how progress is going?

Hi kz106, we're all very busy with IRL stuff at the moment (mainly examinations and deadlines for Assifuah and I), but there'll be more updates once we crank it up during the summer. :)

I guess you could say that, if you dont hear any word spoken in the office, everyone must be busy with there work. That is pretty much how it is looking for us right now.

I guess i could just drop something on the floor and the wind will magicly slide it under the door of our office into the public....
