comp_uter15776 1 Posted August 16, 2013 UAVs are up! Is there a way to adjusting my settings to the jets? Because the UAV control is using them and using my pedal from the helicopters, so Q turn engine on and move me to the left. The last horse crosses the line xD Not sure about controls. Jets aren't fully in though so I guess we can't switch to them just yet so easy. Oh, video going up soon! :')
ScratcH334 10 Posted August 16, 2013 Awesome! Those UAVs work better than I expected :) I was surprised how you can finally change altitude and behaviour on UAVs. They're a real charm!

comp_uter15776 1 Posted August 16, 2013 Walk up to one as UAV Operator. Connect to terminal. Open UAV terminal. Left click to set a waypoint. Shift click to set an area to monitor. Ctrl-click to set an indirect waypoint. Right click a shift-clicked wp to bring up a list of options.

byku 13 Posted August 16, 2013 (edited) Blackfoot - the sound of locking and the sound of missile warning is the same, and as flares do not work as they should(interrupting locking) it is a bit confusing and thanks to that you might waste some flares. Anyway, Comanche should not detect the locking(as detecting ir locking is impossible now... and i bet it will be impossible in the future) Edit. No DAGR locking sound and no PCML locking sound. Edit. It would be great if you would give control of unguided rockets to the pilot(authentic! it's AUTHENTIC :P!) Edited August 16, 2013 by Byku

windies 11 Posted August 16, 2013 anyone?? go up to the UAV and connect the UAV terminal to it. You have to either equip a UAV terminal or use the UAV Operator who has a terminal by default. Then you can either take direct control or you can use the AV terminal to give them basic waypoints. Also we need a way to set Altitude from within the AV terminal for the UAV's when they are in autonomous mode.

bigpickle 0 Posted August 16, 2013 (edited) I cannot manually control the UAV greyhawks or the Red side UAV's either using 360 controller or keyboard. You can only control UAV's that are live, place an empty one on the map and its totally useless, mission makers are gonna make use of this how? Also the gunner only has use of laser :( Edited August 16, 2013 by Bigpickle

How do you use an Empty placed one when it doesnt even show on the map? I have placed one that is technically on myside and connect no problem and fly with ease, But an empty one that would be placed into a mission is going to be useless?? NeuroFunker 11 Posted August 16, 2013 Added new main menu music track - damn nice remix of flashpoint track! You could hear it in cold war crisis campaign alot, at least that string melody. :D
royaltyinexile 175 Posted August 16, 2013 Badass Black Ops remix!? If it's not Flashpoint than at least tell me from which game it's from... Yeah, that'd be it! It's an ambient version of the main theme (not included in data atm)
windies 11 Posted August 16, 2013 You can connect to a UAV from anywhere inside of the terminal. Just right click on the UAV on the map inside the terminal and connect the terminal :) Kudo's on the UAV's btw, Superbly done as far as I can see so far. best2nd 10 Posted August 16, 2013 Yeah, that'd be it! It's an ambient version of the main theme (not included in data atm) Hmm... For some reason it sounds like the Black Ops remix from Armed Assault.
Bobylein 1 Posted August 16, 2013 It may no be an empty one, just use one of your faction then it works
Champy_UK 1 Posted August 16, 2013 Within our mission the vehicles placed within spawn areas are always EMPTY not associated with any factions, so not being alone when im using a mainstream mission, i again ask the question........!
windies 11 Posted August 16, 2013 An empty one placed on a map doesnt show on the map?? Put one down like this. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=170000635 And you should be able to control it like this http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=170000653 The Empty UAV/UGV's might not work yet or are perhaps bugged?
