jarrad96 1940 Posted December 5, 2016 So, apparently there's no US Airbourne missions around on workshop that I can find, so I'm making one. I found out that it's really easy to get great sources and references for WW2 things, so I've been making an Operation Neptune mission, set on June 6th, 1944, where you play as a chalk from the 3rd Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airbourne, Drop Zone O at 0431, the time they jumped from the plane. The same sources also mean I have re-created other chalk's drops across the map in the same location as IRL- this particular chalk you are in was blown off-course and landed in a particular field among the 502nd Para about 1KM to the North of Sainte-Mère-Église, fighting against the German 795th.
