can't remember who said that, but I agree:

bug:

-when fastroping, the guy on the left rope remains blocked

-no action for the player to fastrope

moreover, there was no hint in the readme about how to make AI fastrope when the player is NOT the pilot.

I had to make a search in the thread - you should add it in your readme.

Hope those bugs will be fixed soon.

anyway, thanks so much for this add - and for the quality of it!

Yes sorry, these bugs are being looked into. I totally forgot to to add into the readme of how to get the AI to fast rope when AI is flying, this will be corrected in the latest readme :D

Very nice work konyo. Don't know if it was mentioned, but I loose alt reading quite frequently. Drops to 0.

If anyone is using MMA, you can add the following in your init.sqf to get a lifting camera(nice in single player):

  while {!alive player} do
  {
     Sleep 1;

};

I use with a personal modified version of RAV lifter(I can't get the original to work with ACE / i.e. single player). I can pick up just about anything with this beauty...

AFAIK this is how Norrin made it, deploy the rope, wait a seccond and fast rope.

Quick question if some of you guys wouldn't mind helping me out with.

Would you prefer having one rope out the rear ramp and one out the hatch?

OR

Two ropes out the rear ramp (How it is currently set up)?

Reason I'm asking is so I can set it to either for the ACE Fastropes

Ok, to be more exact, I've checked again and the ramp problem is that I can't lower the ramp when I've leveled it, just in case you haven't discovered it yet.

as i posted earlier with the config changes, i think a single rope from the loadmasters hatch for the ACE rope and keeping the original rope system at the tail would be best.

Raise it and then you can lower it again.

That's a good idea. I like that one.

Yes you have to raise the ramp to lower it again, that's been fixed in the latest version.

I noticed that when an AI is in control of the helo that it climbs well above the flyinheight altitude. I saw that sometimes you randomly lose altimeter data (it goes to zero) and maybe thats whats causing the issue. Last night an AI had it at 1200 meters and still climbing...

other than that...its perfect!

You have to use the scripts that are provided. ACE isn't avaliable with this Addon yet.

The script was included with the download, you should have 3 .pbo files in the @kyo_mh47e folder if your using a launcher...

the only items you can lift (as already noted) is the RHIB, M119 Arty piece and most Humvee based vehicles, to use it, enter the helo, hover directly over the target, use the scroll menu option "Deploy Sling ropes" when in the correct position a option "attach cargo" will appear, the problem is that said point is not directly ontop of the vehicle but rather either to the front of it or to the rear-left of it.

Yeah I really liked the idea of having both out the back, but now that I think about it, one in the center would be easier on the solo pilot (More common right?)

You've also got to think about if there's cargo slung under it. If there's a HMMWV under the center, you don't want to rope out on top of it. Is it possible to alter the attach positions of the ropes based on if there is cargo attached?

All I can say is My Unit used your New MOD and it worked great, but we have noticed a few bugs due to it being a full MH.

Bugs:

  • Sometimes while hitting "Jump Out" Spawns you on top of chopper blades.

  • If "1" Person hits "Eject" everyone gets ejected.

Other than that worked great!

Oh and bug I noticed (maybe intentional?) is that when you're completely still and hovering in the air, the height only says zero. If you decide to move just a hair, it displays the correct value.

Yes, that's because of the roadway LOD. (Which makes the inside of the helicopter walkable) It effects the game engine as it thinks that is the ground, as far as I know it can't be fixed.

Very nice one ! I think the best one after little corrections, tested with my team :

- Fast rope do not work (I can deploy rope but no addAction to get out)

- Many many many addAction "Extract Cargo Rope"

- twice addAction with "Deploy Fastrope"

- And finally : can lift more vehicules (Trucks...and more?)

Yeah, I'm very much suspecting it's when you use ACE, I've had the same thing. But since the Eject option is going away anyway, I didn't think it was anything to mention (I'd guess it's the whole concept of having both crew members of a plane eject if one does it, which makes sense due to realism).

I found some strange things and want to know if it's just me...

When AI uses fastrope they ignore combat mode once on the ground...
